Cinema-only scene in Star Wars VII? edit

I believe to clearly remember an impressive shot from Star Wars: The Force Awakens of stormtroopers emerging from landing ships on Takodana, while already firing at Maz Kanata's castle. I did not find this scene when I watched the movie on DVD. Does anyone else remember it? Could it be that this scene was cut out for the home media version? 黄雨伞 (talk) 00:10, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Funny you post this, I remember the same situation with star wars episode 3. It's very likely a deleted scene and might appear in certain versions. Things like "director's cut" or "extended edition" might contain the scene. Only a small percentage of the time is the scene truly "lost". 64.170.21.194 (talk) 01:11, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Evening in Byzantium edit

In the TV movie Evening in Byzantium, what does Roger Tory do, and is he a good guy or a bad guy? 2601:646:8E01:7E0B:F88D:DE34:7772:8E5B (talk) 08:01, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is a clip of the film's opening five minutes (and God is it dreadful). George Lazenby (who plays the character in question) appears to be a photographer (and English, despite his accent) working with journalist Gail McKinnon (Erin Gray). Perhaps someone who has read the book might be able to assist further. Tevildo (talk) 00:01, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
So he had no part in either aiding or thwarting the evil terrorist plot? 2601:646:8E01:7E0B:99C8:451B:7950:87DE (talk) 01:22, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I would be cautious about such a conclusion considering Gail appears to have been involved in thwarting the plot. Nil Einne (talk) 12:27, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'd like to know more -- it wouldn't be fair if a former James Bond 007 was a mere bystander with regard to the terrorist attacks (in fact, I think even if they made him a traitor (as they did to Pierce Brosnan at least once), it would still be better than if he was just a bystander). 2601:646:8E01:7E0B:F865:F22A:92D:104D (talk) 03:03, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know that this is a fruitful line of discussion for the RD. The question of what Roger Tory did seems to stand regardless although it seems likely that no one here has seen the movie and there doesn't seem to be an easy to obtain screen play or detailed plot summary so the question is probably not going to be answered here.
