Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Wikipedia:Reference desk/Miscellaneous. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 00:14, 22 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Also, read WP:Identifying reliable sources. Wikipedia by and large goes with mainstream media, regardless of your opinion of them. Ian.thomson (talk) 16:45, 4 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
If the mainstream media is a reliable source, then I am Sean Connery! In fact, I can give dozens (if not hundreds) of examples where the mainstream media has either been flagrantly and inexcusably wrong regarding the facts, deliberately biased in their analysis thereof, or even outright lying to serve their unstated political agenda! 2601:646:8E01:7E0B:F88D:DE34:7772:8E5B (talk) 02:25, 5 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
If you do not accept that Wikipedia considers mainstream sources as reliable, then you do not belong here. Ian.thomson (talk) 02:33, 5 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
If YOU consider it acceptable to cite as a reliable source a lying rag which even claimed that Hillary won this year's election, then YOU don't belong here! 2601:646:8E01:7E0B:F88D:DE34:7772:8E5B (talk) 02:39, 5 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
And BTW, given your self-proclaimed political bias on your user page, you have no more standing to tell truth from fiction than anyone else! 2601:646:8E01:7E0B:F88D:DE34:7772:8E5B (talk) 02:42, 5 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
See WP:Identifying reliable sources, WP:FRINGE, WP:No original research, WP:Assume good faith, and WP:TRUTH. Wikipedia is based on summaries of mainstream sources, your political beliefs do not matter. The community does not accept those who rejects mainstream sources. Ian.thomson (talk) 02:45, 5 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
In this case, the entire community is itself guilty of POV pushing along with the mainstream media! Because the mainstream media lies all the time, and there is ABUNDANT proof of this! 2601:646:8E01:7E0B:F88D:DE34:7772:8E5B (talk) 02:49, 5 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
If all the traffic is coming your way, you're probably in the wrong lane. Ian.thomson (talk) 03:04, 5 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
Just because most people believe it doesn't make it true, as evidenced e.g. by the flat-earth theory! 2601:646:8E01:7E0B:F88D:DE34:7772:8E5B (talk) 03:07, 5 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
