There's no Bullet-Proof Vest, but Although the 3-Finger Cannibal got Shot by a Shotgun, how did that Evil S.O.B. 3-Finger Cannibal survive? (50.173.3.162 (talk) 01:50, 25 August 2014 (UTC)).[reply]

I am assuming you mean Wrong Turn 2: Dead End. Being a work of fiction the answer is: because the people who wrote the movie decided that he would. --Jayron32 01:51, 25 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
An old, old plot device. At the end of the first Frankenstein movie, it appeared that the monster had died in a burning mill. The film did very well, so they made a sequel - and concocted a way that he escaped that burning building. There's always a way. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 02:23, 25 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Depending on the load and the range, it's not necessarily strange to survive being shot by a shotgun. For a real-world example, see Dick_Cheney_hunting_incident, where a 78 year old man got shot in the face and torso with birdshot, and survived. Why was this thread censored? Edison (talk) 03:57, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering that about the Clarissa Explains It All one, too. Turns out the OP's blocked, and blocked people have the right to remain silent. InedibleHulk (talk) 04:28, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not just blocked, but "long term abuse", which means it's likely a banned user. Banned users are not allowed to edit. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 13:00, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
In any case, it's counterproductive, at least to those without Javascript enabled. For them (and me), what was before just another post is now framed, headlined and highlighted in pink. Or salmon. Or some highly visible colour. InedibleHulk (talk) 00:13, 29 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
