I (don't) know stuff

A quote popped into my head yesterday and it's been killing me trying to think of where it's from. Unfortunately, the quote is short, the words in it are common, and I can't remember the character's name that speaks it. I'm fairly certain that it was from a movie but it may be from a television show. Most likely US made. The scene goes something like this: Three people are in the scene. Person A, who I think is female, walks into the scene and makes some sort of declaration which person B was trying to hide or isn't comfortable with acknowledging. Person B says something like "Who's that?" or "Who's she?" Person A then introduces themselves to person B by saying something like "I'm _____. I know (stuff/things)." It's said in a fairly monotone way and the last word is either 'stuff' or 'things', I can't remember which. Does this ring any bells with anyone? Anyone know what this is from? Nevermind. Wouldn't you know it, two minutes after I asked this I figured it out. It's Layla Miller who says it. And it's from a comic book. Bah! Thanks for the would-be help! Dismas|(talk) 09:54, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Can anyone identify this track?

Contemporary jazz, instrumental. If precise identification is not possible, speculation/free association most welcome. Thanks, Skomorokh 22:54, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Shazam says "Duquility" by Steve Lacy / Max Waldron Quintett. Exxolon (talk) 19:49, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much for taking the trouble, but if "Duquility" is anything like this Mal Waldron recording, it would seem to be a different song to the one I posted, which is piano with percussion backing, no horns... Skomorokh 21:45, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
