what does a term mean

If you're talking about List of What's with Andy? episodes, "Don't Shoot the Messenger" is episode 56. Since they started the production codes at 101 (for whatever reason), the production code is thus 156. Adam Bishop (talk) 05:55, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

They may have started at 101 to indicate season 1, episode 01. "Don't Shoot the Messenger" is the fourth episode in season 3, so 304 would fit with that reasoning (although production and airing schedules can differ). Which source uses that production number? Our current source is EPGuides.com but maybe that is mistaken and our article needs correcting. AJCham 06:34, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

where can i find a link

where can i find a link with a forem about who was a better voice for judy jetson (janet waldo or tiffany), i have googled it, and no results, just bios and other stuff. I am not advanced enough to start a forem, all the sights require log ins, it's kind of dumb. Ladykillers/ the2004 Coen Bros. movie

The script merely identifies it as an unnamed waffle house, but according to this lady's name tag it is called "Waffle Hut". AJCham 11:08, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

No more talking about forems, as i mention on my talk page, the forem that was created was not by me. This question is for suggestions on who i could recommend to Warner Brothers or another company to do the voice of the characters. Who would be a good possible candidate for the voices of the following jetsons characters? Note: I know it is hard to replace someone like Mel Blanc, he was ausom! Why do you assume that? Some of these American Football players are quite highly paid. And the questioner may want to know which American Football player is paid the most without reference to soccer at all. In soccer, according to a couple of searches I did it would be Lionel Messi. (edit conflict) I may be wrong, but I don't think it is usual for an American to refer to a football player as a 'footballer', instead preferring the aforementioned term 'football player'. As far as I can tell almost all references to gridiron players as 'footballers' tend to be made by foreigners (from a US perspective) for whom football more usually means soccer or another variant. If the OP was such a person they would have almost certainly disambiguated 'American footballers' if necessary. If they were referring to rugby or Aussie Rules one would expect them to be aware enough of the sport's relatively lesser status globally and therefore disambiguate those also.

In answer to the question this source indicates that it is Lionel Messi who earns $43.3m a year. That includes endorsements as well as his reputed $292k/pw salary (~$15m per annum), though I expect that is a record on its own – it's almost 50% higher than Ronaldo's paltry $200k. Of course that report is now two months old so who knows what has changed since then, and what will change in the coming weeks prior to the closure of the transfer window. Also, you'll have noticed that the linked report only lists players from the World Cup, and as such David Beckham is not mentioned. Sports Illustrated just tackled this question with their Fortunate 50 U.S. and highest 20 international athletes ranked by total income from playing + endorsements. (Unfortunately, to the writer, "international" means "foreigners" — David Beckham is on the "international" list though he's playing for Major League Soccer in the US — so to get the real "international" list you'll have to open the two web pages and read them simultaneously.) It looks like the answer to the original poster's question is Lionel Messi, as mentioned above; in total, five athletes worldwide appear to have earned more than Messi in the past year. Why do sports players often spit?

I can only comment on this from my own experience of participating in sports, but I notice that as I become less hydrated the saliva which builds up in the mouth has a thicker consistency, even coming close to the consistency of a light syrup. This combined with shortness of breath makes swallowing very difficult, even leading to choking/coughing, so one feels forced to spit to get rid of excess saliva. My level of fitness and quality of diet are, however, severely lacking compared to professional athletes, so my experience may not be analogous to theirs. AJCham 13:59, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

To get rid of 'flem' or 'spit' from their mouth which may be making it more difficult to breath as easily/comfortably. Obviously there's potentially spitting 'at' people out of aggression, perhaps even some doing it out of 'habit' or 'nerves' or something but generally it'll be to get spit out of their mouth. If you've ever been bunged-up and player sports it can be quite annoying the amount of liquid your body produces for you. ny156uk (talk) 14:03, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

The Oakland Tribune is probably the largest newspaper in the county. Other newspapers are the Tri-Valley Herald, the East Bay Express, the Hayward Daily Review, Fremont Argus and Alameda Times-Star.
