"Waiting in the Wings" edit

OK, here's an "ID this song for me" question where googling "lyrics" in addition to the lyrics does not help. There's a punk song, probably late 80s, in which the chorus goes "Waiting in the wings! — In the wiiiinnngs! — Waiting in the wings!" Googling has not helped, and Allmusic has not helped, and neither has YouTube, because I have lamely only remembered this part of the song. The repeated "in the wings" has not helped with the search engines. Tempshill (talk) 02:54, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could this be the band: Channel 3 (band)? Genre and time appear to be right, and they seem to have a song titled "Waiting in the wings". --NorwegianBlue talk 11:24, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I skimmed right past this in my search when I couldn't find an audio sample of even 1 second — thanks — anyone know where a sample might be? Tempshill (talk) 04:54, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It appears to be available for listening at Last.fm, see here. Requires a login, though. I don't know the site, and didn't get a login to check if it's actually there, but you might want to try it (with a disposable email address, perhaps). --NorwegianBlue talk 20:10, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe Darren Kolbe's "Angel's Waitin' in the Wings"... Pepso2 (talk) 12:47, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
See this, I don't know the name, but this sounds like it. 174.146.155.138 (talk) 14:47, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What episode/film is this? edit

Hi, I'm trying to find the name of a black-and-white television show, episode, or film (I don't know if it was an episode of a program or even a film) that I saw a long time ago. It might have been a television program or a film in the tradition of the The Twilight Zone (1959 TV series), The Outer Limits (1963 TV series), or even Alfred Hitchcock Presents. All I can remember about it is that a man was visiting a therapist because he was either having recollections of a past life in the French Revolution or maybe he had been dreaming about it, I don't know. In any case, I think he was upset because in the past life/dream they were getting ready to execute him by guillotine, and there was probably a love interest involved. Anyway, I can't recall what happened exactly, but at the end the camera pans to either the patient or the therapist (can't remember which) and one of them is missing their head in the real world, because they had "lost" their head in the other world. There might have been some kind of hypnotism involved, such as a past life regression or something. Does this story ring any bells for anyone? Viriditas (talk) 09:12, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Have you considered an alternative to this being an episode or movie that you are recollecting? 68.244.154.152 (talk) 12:39, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Might be the right time for V to get his affairs in order. 174.146.155.138 (talk) 14:48, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
