Classical Song

edit

Could someone tell me the name of this song? I hear it a lot, but I don't know what it's called. It plays at the beginning of this South Park clip: http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/103993 63.229.218.33 (talk) 03:08, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am pretty sure that is from The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi. It sounds like "Spring". --Jayron32.talk.contribs 03:15, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it is. Fast forward this clip here: [1] to about 2:56 in. You will hear the exact same segment of the piece as you find in the South Park episode. --Jayron32.talk.contribs 03:18, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

What was the highest prize won on the British version of The Weakest Link?

Kulystab (talk) 13:42, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

See the article - The_Weakest_Link#United_Kingdom it states "The highest amount won so far (as of March 2009) on the standard day time version of the Weakest Link is £5420 and the least won is £750". I presume it still stands ny156uk (talk) 19:11, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since everything is multiplied by a factor of 5 in the the "celebrity charity" specials (the maximum is at £50,000 instead of £10,000), it is likely that a higher prize was achieved in one of those episodes, but I found no referenced actual example. ---Sluzzelin talk 22:30, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

True. It's probably worth noting the celebrity ones are for a charity (which obviously is still a prize) not the pockets of the celeb!! 194.221.133.226 (talk) 08:15, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I must have skipped that part. Thanks a lot. Kulystab (talk) 19:27, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Home Alone 2

edit

Hello Everybody!
There's a classical song in Home Alone 2, when Kevin meets the woman in the theatre. What is the title (and author) of this song?
Thanks, Keldvi (talk) 20:29, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Home_Alone_2#Track_listing maybe helps? I guess from the 'score' list it's the 'christmas in carnegie hall' one? ny156uk (talk) 07:16, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks! I found the track from the track list (the first song is from the Christmas in Carnegie Hall) - Keldvi (talk) 08:33, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
