IT'S NOT WHAT IT'S NAME DESCRIBES ..what am i talking about —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.1.26.35 (talk) 04:44, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That could be just about anything without further clues. First thing I though of was heterological words, which don't describe them, selves (e.g., big is a small word, microscopic is a big word). Grutness...wha? 05:10, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name that music video (please! :) edit

Hi everyone! I tried to find a music video whose song or band name I can't remember; all I can remember are some of the details of the music video. First off, I do remember that the song sounded an awful lot like Oasis (at least the voice), but if it had been Oasis I would've had no trouble finding it. The song (and music video) can't be from any time earlier than 2000. As for the music video itself, it depicted Medieval Japan; but the focus was on two or three people, one of whom was a ninja who (I think) was supposed to kill someone but he/she was in love with the one s/he had to kill, or something like that :P. I think there was a duel of some sort at one point. I also think the most recognizable aspect of the music video was that it used bullet time around the main characters, but they were only standing there doing nothing (or posing, I guess) while the camera turned around them. That's all I remember. Could someone please point me to the name of the song and/or the band? Thanks in advance! ^.^ Kreachure (talk) 17:20, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps Scorpio Rising by Death in Vegas. It featured Liam Gallagher on lead vocals. Video here. Booglamay (talk) - 20:01, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yup, it's (obviously) that one! Thank you very much!! Kreachure (talk) 22:10, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No worries - I answered before watching the video - now I've watched it, it is rather obvious that it is what you described! Booglamay (talk) - 02:33, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PS3/360 edit

WILL THERE BE A PS3 PRICE CUT IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS?OR WILL THE XBOX 360 BRING OUT A BIGGER HARDDRIVE SYSTEM? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.198.29.176 (talk) 18:43, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PS3 - maybe; with the falling spending, retailers will have to drop prices even lower than usual holiday discounts to improve lackluster sales.
360 - I'd say not likely; unless the current drive is unadequate for a large part of the users of the console, there is little reason to upgrade the standard configuration. It can happen that the larger drives will become cheaper than the smaller ones, and then I'd expect that the drives would just silently be upgraded without change in official specifications. I have read -- but cannot find -- an article that said that Sony will not be cutting prices for the PS3 before the holidays. Recury (talk) 18:39, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
