Could I please get some more information on this game?

This game, described here, is apparently very, very rare; GOOGLE could hardly find anything. I request more information, such as a list of the characters in the Street Fighter 2 clone, (character page is shown,) and preferably also, if there is some loophole, a download of the NES rom. lost old science fiction movie

I remember watching an old science fiction movie about a family travelling through space to a new solar system. The journey takes so long they are now onto the third generation (i.e. over 50years of travelling). There is only an elusive psychiatrist that the main characters go to visit regularly. Anyway, the movie had a twist in that nobody was going anywhere - it was all a simulated experiment set-up by NASA to investigate the effects and possibilities of deep space travel. There was a particularly irony in that the main character (a boy) new it was a hoax all along.... Am I the only one to see this movie? What's its name?137.138.116.151 14:12, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Alien v Predator

<Spoiler warning. If you've not watched the film and plan to, you won't be able to answer my question anyway, so don't read it>

I recently watched this film. Yeah, yeah, I know it's all tosh, but it should make some sense, so an apparent inconsistency made me curious. I've read a few articles here about the Alien stories and it seems that each egg requires one victim in order for the alien to grow to maturity. In the events depicted in the film, far too many aliens seem to be around compared to the numbers of human victims. Can anyone help with this?

Oh and one other minor point - why do the Predator creatures waste effort / energy killing the humans at base camp? They could (more) easily get past them with their stealth abilities. --Dweller 13:14, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

They may have killed the others at the basecamp simply for sport. Lanfear's Bane

Well, for one thing, the movie wouldn't have been as exciting if there weren't so many aliens. Hahaha. In a more serious note, the explanation is found in under the "plot section" in our article Alien vs. Predator (film). Here is an excerpt:

At regular intervals they would visit Earth to take part in a rite of passage in which several humans would sacrifice themselves as hosts for the Aliens, creating the "ultimate prey" for the Predators to hunt.

But this is weird, because that was back at ancient times, right? How about during the movie? Again, the answer is in the same section of the article:

An Alien queen awakens from cryogenic stasis and begins producing eggs, from which facehuggers hatch and attach themselves to several of the humans. Chestbursters soon result and quickly grow into adult Aliens.

Thanks for trying, but not really. Our articles on the alien creatures make it clear that each egg requires one victim to chestburst from (to coin a phrase) and there just aren't that many victims underground in the film, either in "the present day", or in the ancient scenes shot in flashback. --Dweller 20:13, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

This is a weird request, but I'm looking for something she once said. I'm pretty sure it's her I'm thinking of, when she was on Oprah. Whatever her comment was, it made almost no sense but the audience gave her a standing ovation. I found it funny when I read it, but can't find it again. DAUGHTER'S ROOM MAKEOVER

Hi, I am a working mom that goes to school full time and my daughter is the best kid a mom could ever want. I have been working hard for the past several years to support us but have not had the extra money to fix my daughter's room up the way she wants. She is such a GREAT person and has been so supportive to me that I would love to have her room redone. She is in Texas visiting her father right now and I wanted to know if there is a show that could make-over her room before she comes back in 2 weeks. There are many shows based on that exact premise. Unfortunately, I believe they all require several months notice ahead of time to setup the crew and get everybody to the location and everything. And most of them have extremely long waiting lists to get on, so you'd probably have to apply even more months ahead of that. So in short, 2 weeks won't cut it. I suggest you two redo her room yourselves. A "personal touch" is often appreciated more than expensive stuff. For example, if she is artistic, she might enjoy painting some art on the walls. Of course, this isn't allowed in some places, such as rental apartments. You can hand-sew some throw pillows (I made one that looked like a friendly turtle, for example). Law & Order Theme

I was hoping somebody could clear this up for me as it's had me wondering for a while.

In the UK, there are three unrelated channels which show Law & Order: Five, Hallmark, who both show older episodes and Sky One who show new episodes. I recently noticed that the theme music on Hallmark and Five were different, at first I thought they might have changed over time as Hallmark were showing much older episodes than Five. Now I've just seen an episode on Sky One and it has the same theme as Hallmark, yet it's even more recent then what is shown on Five.

I know that sometimes shows have different themes in different countries (for example the first season of BSG in America had a different theme from the rest of the world) but I've never heard of different channels in the same country showing the show with different themes.

Is it possible that these are different Law and Order shows? The number of different shows under the Law and Order brand seemingly grows each day (eventually, all of television will be Law & Order and CSI. Yes for some reason which nobody knows whenever I have seen the question asked Five have a different theme tune.People have noticed over time the same episode being shown with different theme tunes so it's nothing to do with what season it is .Garda40 22:46, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

On Five, I've seen Law & Order, Special Victims Unit and Criminal Intent. The first two share the same theme while Criminal Intent uses a remix of it. On Hallmark, I've only seen Law & Order and Criminal Intent, Criminal Intent uses a remix of the Law & Order theme that is used on that channel, but it's a different theme to the Criminal Intent theme on Five.
