I've listed this article for peer review because it's relevant to the current volatile sociopolitical situation in the Unites States of America. By reviewing the facts and updating them where appropriate we can develop a better comprehension about these current events. Certainly it'll inform what brought us to this point. The Peer Review could confirm or deny that slavery was or was not linked to sugar and guns. It'd be important to note the warlords who used those guns (though that maybe more relevant to a different article). It might be noteworthy to reference the Hegelian dialectic (though that maybe more relevant to a different article).

@Liberty5651 sorry for the length delay here, but you need to launch an WP:RFC for that. Peer review is to provide general feedback on how articles can improve, not a venue for a discussion about a contentious issue.
