I'm trying to hit all the peer reviews listed for FAC, but I neither read nor support articles that are 12,000 words of prose, and suggest trimming the article via summary style. Just my opinion :) My general advice on that is at User:SandyGeorgia/Achieving excellence through featured content. I also recommend having a look at WP:RECEPTION for writing that section.
