Feedback on articles I've added photos to? edit

Hi folks, I've been gradually adding photos from my Flickr backlog, using flickypedia. You can see the full list from my Contributions page beginning June 2023, but here are some articles I added photos to:

I'm just wondering, how am I doing? Are there ways I could improve how I add photos to articles, any best practices? I haven't seen many edits to the pages after I've added photos, I'd just like some confirmation that my approach is good and improving Wikipedia before I add more photos. -- Skyfaller (talk) 04:51, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Article about Ira Hayes, marine Medal of honor winner, Iwo Jima edit

There seems to be a conflict. Ira Hayes was one of the marines who raised the flag at Iwo Jima. For that, he was awarded the Medal of Honor. The online article fails to mention that. Can someone research this and add the missing information? I believe it is important to the Marines, the Native Americans, and the readers. Israel (talk) 04:56, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Although some online sites claim that Ira Hayes was awarded the Medal of Honor, I can find no Reliable source that says so, amongst several that list the medals that he was awarded. One example (found by independent search, not using the article's references) is https://www.militarymedals.com/warhero/corporal-ira-hayes/: of his seven medals listed in that source, the one specific to his actions at Iwo Jima is the Navy Presidential Unit Citation with silver star. Our Article corresponds with that source.
Checking our articles on the other participants in the First and Second raisings (see Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima), none of them were awarded the Medal of Honor either, and none are listed in our article List of Medal of Honor recipients for the Battle of Iwo Jima. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 188.220.144.58 (talk) 08:03, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No one was awarded the MOH for simply raising the flag at Iwo Jima. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 14:21, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Crima în lume edit

How I can edit this topic in Romanian? Alexandru Berca (talk) 11:01, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If your issue is with the Romanian Wikipedia, you need to address that there, each Wikipedia is separate. 331dot (talk) 11:10, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Rejection of my first article edit

could you please tell the reasons for rejection of my first article Arunasreearu (talk) 13:14, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is about Draft:A day in the life of a salesman/woman, I'd have to say it's out of scope for this website. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 13:36, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Arunasreearu try getting a Blog - what you wrote is not suitable for Wikipedia. Qcne (talk) 14:03, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed that very similar feedback was given for Draft:A day in the life of salesman, Draft:A day in life of salesman and Draft:A day in the life of a salesman. Based on the feedback from those submissions - you ought to read What Wikipedia Is Not, I would also suggest reading a few existing Wikipedia articles on any topic of interest to you, to get an idea of what Wikipedia articles usually consist of. -- D'n'B-t -- 03:29, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What happened to page on Joe Dispenza, the new age chiropractor? edit

It seems to have been taken down. Why? 179.42.210.0 (talk) 21:53, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You can see the deletion log at Joe Dispenza. This will tell you that the article was deleted on 2 August 2010 following this discussion. It was deleted again on 6 January 2020 under our speedy deletion criteria as "Recreation of a page that was deleted per a deletion discussion. DuncanHill (talk) 21:57, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This seems entirely likely to be another inappropriate G4 deletion, as it's hard to believe that someone would have maintained a substantially identical copy of the page and re-created it ten years later. --Paul_012 (talk) 08:13, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
