The X-Files Mythology, Volume 3 edit

Contributor(s): Gen. Quon, Trust Is All You Need

Following Grapple X's successful nomination of Volume 1, and his recent nomination of Volume 2, I present Volume 3. This collection covers episodes of The X-Files ranging from 1998–2000; the scope is well-defined in the parent article as encompassing a given set of entries and each entry has been brought to GA status individually. This episode included a good chunk of the post-X-Files movie episodes, and features aliens gestating from peoples' stomachs, the destruction of The Syndicate, the revelation about Mulder's sister, Mulder's abduction by aliens, and the introduction of John Doggett. --Gen. • Am I the only one growing weary of the large number of articles overlapping the seasons and the mythology topics? Nergaal (talk) 18:34, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see what the big deal is. The seasons that have been nominated are all up to GA and these Mythology collections are all GAs too. The seasons are very important to the show, as is the mythology. Is there some sort of underlaying principle that we've violated by nominating these? There's only four mythology "arcs" and nine seasons; not all season-episodes are mythology based.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 04:15, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Literally no rule is being broken, but it is in contrast to the overly-overlap "suggestion" listed under the criteria. Nergaal (talk) 19:21, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I guess I can understand that, but you do have to realize that in a season, there are about 23 episodes. Usually 4 or 5 of them are mytharcs. The rest are monsters, so there isn't a huge overlap. And if there is, it's over 3 or so seasons.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 03:23, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
