Original - Using the color scheme from the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale, this image shows the tracks of all Pacific hurricanes to have their names retired due to severe damage in the Eastern and Central Pacific Ocean. Nine hurricanes in the basin have been retired, with hurricanes Fico, Fefa, Ismael, Pauline and Kenna in the East Pacific, and hurricanes Iwa, Iniki, Paka and Ioke in the Central Pacific.

Oppose, I'd like to see mores specific referencing on the image page such as all of the lat/longitudes plotted and for each hurricane with their specific references rather than just a link to the site. Oppose. Labels: Poor font and placement (should show which end is the start); neither color contrasts well with the land. Low resolution: IMO it should be at least 2 times bigger in both directions. No Latitude/Longitude lines on the image: In particular, where are the dateline, 140E and the equator, the boundaries of the basin? The caption is not useful.
