Comments - hope you considered a DYK from this list which is only a day or so old...! A couple of quick comments and I'll be back soon to do the whole thing.
  • I changed your hyphens to en-dashes where appropriate (per WP:DASH) in this edit.

  • It's not clear to a non-expert what 1-3 and 4 means in the lead.
  • Did you know the second sentence of the lead alone would constitute 1/3 of a DYK (it's nearly 500 characters long) - i.e. try breaking it up.
  • "co-composed the first film." you mean co-composed the score for the first film?
  • "ninth highest ever.[3] and On Stranger Tides" grammar fail.
  • Avoid ALL CAPS in ref titles.

Hello, thanks for the comments and I've made the following changes: wrote out 1-3 and 4 in prose for clarification, broke up second sentence, "co-composed the score for", grammar fail no longer fails, and removed all unnecessary caps from references. These are some small things:

  • "review aggregate Rotten Tomatoes" link to review aggregator
  • "in 2006 for Dead Man's Chest.[16]" DC should not be linked
  • "The score is primarily by Hans Zimmer, although Klaus Badelt co-composed the score for the first film." The second "the score" seems a bit redundant.
  • All four paragraphs begin with "the". Can you maybe reword the first sentences to avoid redundancy?
  • A lot of sentences start with "the" over and over again, could you also reword those?

Done. All implemented, although your third point is essentially reverting the suggestion made by User:The Rambling Man, but I found it to be a bit clunky, so I removed it. Additional comments Upon looking into the article further I found quite a few ref problems
  • Rotten Tomatoes should not be italicized
  • The Oscars is overlinked
  • The BAFTA refs are overlinked
  • Ref 19 is overlnked
  • There are many more overlinks throughout the refs. The work and publisher should only be linked once in the entire article
  • Ref 48 in unreliable (whosdatedwho is not a rs)
  • Same for 49
  • Ref 51 is unreliable (it's a Johnny Depp fansite)
  • Ref 52 is alo unreliable (starsontop.com is not a rs)
  • Ref 54 is alo unreliable (IMDB, from what I've heard, is not an rs) Note from Cheesy: 1 Award removed... unverifiable info.
  • Same with ref 95 Note from Cheesy: 1 Award removed... unverifiable info.
  • Ref 88 is not formatted correctly
  • Ditto for ref 83
  • Ref 76 is also sourced by whosdatedwho
  • Same for 69
  • Ref 65 is also sourced by IMDb
  • Ref 60 is also sourced by starsontop

All in I must say this article has a great structure, bit its the references that are lacking. To be fair though, finding refs for generally unpopular award shows from the early 2000s is quite a bitch. Crystal Clear x3 09:21, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose – Too many unreliable and questionable sources present for this to meet FL criteria.

Even if a few of these prove to be reliable, there's likely too many poor sources for replacing them during the course of an FLC to be practical. Giants2008 (27 and counting) 00:39, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
