This is far too short to be a featured list. You need much more description in the lead of what a drug being listed in schedule V even means. How are they controlled? The other lists are shorter than I expected, I'd recommend merging all five schedules into one article for a better list. Also "Controlled Substance" is not a proper noun and should not be capitalized in the title. Reywas92^Talk 16:58, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose per Reywas and Chonk. Controlled substances are an interesting subject and it'd be great to see a list about them at FLC, but this list doesn't yet provide the necessary context. Imagine a reader going through Special:Random -- if they see this list, will they understand what it's about? Our list of featured lists has a few medical examples; the selection is sparse, but it'd be good to look at and get an idea of what to work towards.
