Comments - quick run
  • No bold links per MOS please.
  • First sentence has one too many "and is.." clauses.
  • "Currently" - perhaps add some context e.g. As of October 2010...
  • Image captions are not complete sentences so don't need periods.
  • Wheelchair symbol should be explained here.
  • On the first sort of Zone in Safari after sorting City/neighbourhood, the 1's and the 1A's mix up.
  • Chelsea (as a random inspection) has a disabled ramp and a mobile lift, amongst other thing, but it doesn't have a wheelchair symbol in this list. What's the deal?

    • First sentence: split into two
    • Currently: reworded to exclude the word
    • Captions: periods removed
    • Wheelchair symbol: now explained in table's column description
    • Sorting: Firefox sorts the 1s and 1As separate, but shows the 1s first. 1A is the cheapest, but I don't know how I would be able to fix the sorting so 1A would appear first.
    • Chelsea: That is the accessibility symbol key you are seeing. If the station is handicap accessible, then the wheelchair symbol will be inline with the title as seen here. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 23:58, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

    1. I would want to know the total length of the railways.
    2. Amtrak, which also deals with this problem, suggests that passengers use a taxi to get from North Station to South Station. This is off-topic. Of course, it is possible to travel by taxi from any point to any point.

How would I tie railway length information into the article? It is a list of stations, so I'm not sure where such information would go. It is definitely something that could be added to MBTA Commuter Rail though. As for Amtrak, that was existing when I started to bring the article up to FL standards. I decided to leave it because even though there is a rapid transit connection, the agency outright suggests a specific way to travel between the two termini. Stations, section... why not use a more traditional key, rather than this bolded mash of words?
Line column, why are they all purple, instead of usign colours that match the map?
If 1A is further in than 1, shouldn't zone 1A sort before zone 1?
Lesser known newspapers, (refs 5, 6, 10, and 11) need publisher and location added to citations.

  • Changed wording to what you suggested.
  • Could you show me an example of a more traditional key? I'd like to use it as a guide.
  • The colors on the map are there to help distinguish the routes. All Commuter Rail lines are purple.
  • As I said above, I have no idea how to force the zone column to sort differently.
  • Use the {{Sort}} template, make zone 1a {{sort|01|1a}}, 1, {{sort|02|1}}, 2 {{sort|03|2}}... It's a hack, but it will work. Courcelles 21:02, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
