I've been working on Parks and Recreation coverage on Wikipedia since the show began, and so this list is the culmination of more than two years of gathering and disseminating sources in that time. I believe list is comprehensive, well-written and thoroughly sourced with reliable articles. I intend one day for this to be the anchor article of a WP:GT. Can we tweak the infobox image to somehow address the fact that its not a picture of the whole cast? Donna, Ron Swanson and Jerry are missing I believe.

Use WP:CITEKILL for a cleaner approach to the references, whenever its overflowing, for eg: "rather than guest stars or non-regular supporting cast members.[1][2][3].."
- I'm not sure if this is in WP:CITEKILL, but Parks and Recreation and Parks and Recreation (season 1) use a "Notes" section for sentences where a large number of citations are needed. I've started to do this in Characters of Parks and Recreation as well but I ran out of time. I'll finish this later today or tomorrow. Does this work?

Remove capitals from reference titles.

  - The reference titles are usually just the headlines that source articles use, like "Misguided, She Yearns to Guide" for reference 1. These shouldn't be in all capital letters, even if given that way in the source. The only problem one I see is reference 2 ("PARKS AND RECREATION", which should just be "Parks and Recreation"). Check the italicization of online vs. printed media in the references. For eg: The A.V. Club is a printed source actually, and you have it italicized in some references and in others, its non-italicized.
- I found similar inconsistencies with Punchline Magazine, and Time wasn't italicized but should have been. I think I've fixed them all now. — Hun ter Ka hn 00:13, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comments – Have only reviewed the lead and first few sections and have already compiled a laundry list of items. It's something I expect for a page this size (longer than most articles at FAC!), but a good number of these comments are not nit-picks; they are things that should have been spotted before this was nominated. Even a simple read-through would have helped for most of them. Will complete the review as I get time.

"and the rest of the ensemble cast consist of her friends and co-workers." "consist" → "consists"?
Leslie Knope: "She believes strongly in the mission of her job, sometimes goes over-the-top in her dedication to helping people." For this to work flow-wise, "goes" needs to be "going".
"When the parks department is hindered due by Pawnee's budget problems". Remove "due" or make a change to "due to".
Ron Swanson: "and some of his traits are based on Offerman's of the character are based on Offerman's real-life personality." Feels like two similar sentence that have been merged together poorly. Needs a re-write.
Ann Perkins: "Ann briefly dated Chris Traeger until he breaks up with her". Tense conflict here with "briefly dated" and "he breaks up".
April Ludgate: Add "an" to "were married during impromptu ceremony...".
Derek and Ben: "April, tired of their constantly sarcastic behavior and growing more romantically interested in Andy, April broke up with them." Remove second April.
Justin Anderson: "and has many done extravagant things". Flip "many" and "done" into "done many"?
Remove "the" from "when Justin and Leslie tried to find the Frank Beckerson", unless there is some special reason that it's there.
The Ludgate family: "which April sardonically claims is makes her so 'lively and colorful'". Remove "is".
Marlene Griggs-Knope: Remove "the" from "as indicated in the 'Canvassing'...".
Tammy Swanson: "Ron eventually realized he ws being manipulated...". Typo in "ws".
Wendy Haverford: "despite giving Ron his blessing. in 'Galentine's Day'". Capitalize 'in'.
Bill Dexhart: "and even went so far as the confirm them". "the" → "to".
Hugh Trumple: "He has a very serious personality and gruff personality". Removing the first "personality" would fix a redundancy in the writing.
Contractions "he'll" and "she's" need further spelling out.
Joe: Typo in "competedd".

- Thanks for your thorough read-through here. I have addressed the items you pointed out above. You are absolutely right, these are things I should have caught myself, but I strongly feel for the most part the prose is largely good for this list and I think any problems we have can be addressed in this nom.   - Crazy Ira and The Douche: "This cameat a time...". "cameat" should be two words.
  - Before his appearance as Crazy Ira, Matt Besser is a comedian...". "is" → "was"?
  - Perd Hapley: Check a three-reference block after the third sentence for some code that's showing up in the article.
  - Shauna Malwae-Tweep: "Leslie aseds Mark Brendanawicz for help dealing with Shauna". Not sure what the second word's supposed to be, but it's surely not that.
  - "when he handcuffed himself to a pipe in Leslie's office unless she included the Twilight novel in the capsule." Something feels off here. Try turning the end of this into "when she did not include the Twilight novel in the capsule."
  - The Newport family: "but the citizenry of Pawnee ultimately rejected their arguments were won over by the charisma of Nick Newport, Jr. and his family." Add "and" before "were won over".
  - In "held his 85th birthday at the Turnbill Mansion", should "party" or something similar be added?
  - Eduardo: "primarily to make Andy jealous in retaliation for her having Andy having kissed Ann." Something needs fixing toward the end.
  - Raul: "so he was unimpressed with the conditions of Pawnee and it citizens". "it" → "its".
  - Note 1: "who is as vital to the show's improvement." Either say who he's as vital as, or just say "who is vital...".

There is still an ongoing discussion at Talk:Characters of Parks and Recreation about whether some of the individual character articles should be merged or not (anyone who would care to provide input there would be very much appreciated, by the way), so as the nominator I'd be OK with this FLC being withdrawn for the time being.
