editOn July 26, 2023, it was announced that Hulu had ordered the series.[1][2] On March 6, 2024, the series was given the title Wayne Brady: The Family Remix and moved to Freeform.[3] On May 2, 2024, it was announced that the series will premiere on July 24, 2024.[4][5][6]
