Vandadeh Rural District

Vandadeh Rural District (Persian: دهستان ونداده)[3] is in Meymeh District[4] of Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County, Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Vandadeh.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of Meymeh District of the former Borkhar and Meymeh County) was 5,756 in 1,752 households.[6] There were 6,322 inhabitants in 1,990 households at the following census of 2011,[7] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County.[8] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 6,605 in 2,184 households. The most populous of its 48 villages was Azan, with 3,102 people.[2]
