Valanjerd Rural District

Valanjerd Rural District (Persian: دهستان والانجرد) is in the Central District of Borujerd County, Lorestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Valanjerd.[3]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 7,607 in 1,883 households.[4] There were 7,323 inhabitants in 2,166 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 6,510 in 2,116 households. The most populous of its 25 villages was Valanjerd, with 1,526 people.[2]
