Is there a wiki page with a list of tags. i.e. like wikify, cleanup, etc. I wanted to place 1 or 2 of them but i can't seem to find the correct page. Thanks --Zrulli 04:20, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes you can start at Wikipedia:Template messages and go to the appropriate section/ subpages -- Lost(talk) 04:23, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

My talk page was just vandalized by a person who edited an article i tagged for deletion. Admin Needed!
check my edit history for more info...

I restored the previous contents of the talk page. In addition, the article that you tagged has now been deleted. Sorry for the inconveniences. W. Flake (talk) 03:09, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've warned the user. Xiner (talk, email) 03:13, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Just to tell you a bit about policy regarding vandalism (the full text is available at Wikipedia:Vandalism):
If someone vandalizes a page, they don't get immediately blocked (unless the vandalism is really, really bad, or if it's clear that a user account was set up only to vandalize articles). Instead, they are warned, and when they receive enough warnings, they are blocked. Some warning templates include {{test}}, {{spam4im}}, and {{bv}}.
In this case, however, there was a bot (User:VoABot II) that reverted the edit in question, and warned the user. A bot is software that is designed to edit Wikipedia based on its code; it's a normal editor, except that it's automated. See WP:BOT. Another bot that fights vandalism is User:AntiVandalBot.
If you see vandalism, you can revert it. See WP:REVERT for more information. If you need an admin to block someone for vandalizing repeatedly, report him or her at WP:AIV. GracenotesT § 03:15, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mojibake/Bat Fuck Insane

edit

I made Mojibake link to Bat Fuck Insane.
I think people who look up Mojibake should get a proper look at it, on an actual page, not just a screenshot. It wasn't meant in a vandalism sense. ShandraShazam 02:56, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I disagree - Mojibake would best be demonstrated with an image of it, not a nonsense Wikipedia article. "Bat Fuck Insane" should be deleted Reswobslc 03:13, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image question

edit

Hi Zrulli, did you get this image from NASA Spaceflight.com's L2 Forums? The image says it was obtained from Marshall Spaceflight Center, but that is not the type of image that NASA releases to the public, so I'm wondering if you can give me the URL where you got it from, so the source information can be specified. Thanks, ArielGold 17:46, 6 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hey, I got this image from the return to flight page where the ECO problem was found. [1]--zrulli 17:49, 6 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Ahh, awesome, I'll add the source info to the commons page, otherwise the image would have been deleted. That's kind of surprising, usually NASA does not release those "rough graphics" to the public, lol. Good find on that! ArielGold 17:52, 6 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Beat you to it! --zrulli 17:53, 6 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hee hee, fixed it up a bit. Hope you don't mind! ArielGold 17:56, 6 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Shuttle Endeavour

edit

I think you've confused Endeavour with Atlantis. Atlantis doesn't have a scheduled mission after STS-125, as you've added to the infobox on Endeavour, which could be the last shuttle to fly. -MBK004 22:26, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yea, they should have made the names differently. You can revert my edit. I should review the info box formatting before i edit anyways. Sorry! --zrulli 22:56, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Revert

edit

You might want to doublecheck this revert, since the text refers to coprolalia. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:30, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I really did not think it was necessary for the article to include the words that were used while that character was ticking. --zrulli 19:32, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Also, the edit came from a school where vandalism has occurred over the past few weeks. --zrulli 19:33, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
No problem, just wanted you to be aware to take care labeling edits associated with coprolalia as vandalims, just in case. I didn't see that episode, so I can't say if that text was accurate; I would have added a cite needed tag, and come back to it to revert in a few days if no citation was supplied. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:43, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
No problem, I just have this article flagged in my mind with vandalism as I have tourettes syndrome and I ran across it on the RC page. The information was correct, but the source of the information and how little it contributed to the article made me revert it. : ) --zrulli 19:48, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Third Eye Blind A Collection.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Third Eye Blind A Collection.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 02:53, 12 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Dogulas McArthur West Point.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 04:06, 1 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

1994

edit

Hi Zrulli. I appreciate the effort at One Nine Nine Four, but we had problems with this article in the past, as you can see on the article talk page. What came out of the last thing was given the film is still fairly off the radar, with few places to source and cite quality information, a concise article was absolutely sufficient. As and when more about the movie can be sourced - independent reviews, impact on culture etc - a longer article may be necessary. An external link to the website is provided, but data copied directly from their website is not considered "reliable", and does not confer notability for all those on cast and crew lists. Interested parties can click through if they want to see the website. Cheers, Deiz talk 02:26, 8 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I totally see your point about notability for the individuals but I'm not sure how its not reliable but we should definitely see how it goes. I'm not sure how bit this film will actually get but waiting may be the best bet, reading the discussion on the talk. --zrulli 02:38, 8 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Sweet as.. as far as sourcing goes, it's cool to have an external link to the article subject's page, but per WP:RS there are problems with using their own site for independent, reliable information. Let's see how the movie turns out... Deiz talk 19:39, 8 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:NewClassGenesis.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:NewClassGenesis.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 06:03, 13 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the image description page states the source and copyright status of the derivative work, it only names the creator of the original work without specifying the status of their copyright over the work.

Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the original image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. Thanks again for your cooperation. Kelly hi! 23:29, 17 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
