Desert combat

edit

I removed your additions because they are unsourced and a feature list for a DC mini-mod is not needed. Also please see WP:COI as you seem to be the developer of the mod and WP:NPOV#Undue weight as the section you added was larger than the whole section of the actual DC mod (the DCRM section is too large at the moment as well, I will work on that shortly). I'm not saying it's not true but on Wikipedia we need sources for every claim we make, see WP:V. What "many users in several online forums" want and what content is good for Wikipedia are not that same. This is not a game guide or game wiki, you might want to add this content to the BF1942 wiki or others. BJTalk 19:03, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
I don't doubtn that you are the dev of DCX but we need writen or internet sources. I have no idea why your forums are blacklisted. BJTalk 19:17, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well that explains it being block listed, being a free forum host. BJTalk 19:32, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD

As the developer of this mod you should probably be informed of this AfD. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Desert Combat Extended (2nd nomination). Mathmo Talk 10:39, 7 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Block warning

edit

Please do not recreate the article about Desert combat extended again unless you satisfy site standards in doing so. Applicable policies and guidelines include Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:Reliable sources, Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, Wikipedia:Spam, Wikipedia:Do not disrupt Wikipedia to make a point, and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. This particular topic probably holds great interest to you, but that doesn't necessarily make it appropriate for an encyclopedic article. Repeated page creations will not get the article to stick, but those actions would result in suspension of your editing privileges. An editor petitioned me to issue a user block today, but I see you haven't gotten a full explanation or warning before so I'll leave this message instead.

We welcome encyclopedic contributions and I recommend you get more accustomed to the site by improving established topics. The mentorship program can help. Regards, DurovaCharge! 03:51, 3 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
