Tried to put in amendments to your Doctor Who pseudohistoricals page

Just letting you know I tried to put in amendment notes to the above page you've curated but it removed them and so am now responding to your message.

In your list of Doctor Who pseudohistoricals you missed out several such stories from the classic series: The Chase (1964; contains an episode set on Marie Celeste); Daleks' Master Plan (1965; contains an episode set in Ancient Egypt); The War Games (1969; some episodes ostensibly set in First World War, plus other periods); The Time Monster (1972; episodes set in Ancient Atlantis); A Carnival of Monsters (1973; some parts ostensibly set on a passenger liner in Indian Ocean during 1920s); City of Death (1979; some scenes set in Renaissance Italy); Time Flight (1982), partly set on prehistoric Earth; Mawdryn Undead (1983; technically 'pseudohistorical' with its scenes set in 1977 Queen's Silver Jubilee (by your logic, if Father's Day is a 'pseudohistorical' when only set a couple of years in Rose's past, then a 1983 story partly set in 1977 counts as the same); Enlightenment (1983; ostensibly set on an Edwardian racing yacht -plus 18th century buccaneers). There may be other such stories that escape me now. For instance, Invasion of the Dinosaurs (1974) has the appearance of a man from medieval times as a time projection in its first episode).

Also, by your listing new Who episodes individually rather than together, when they really should be listed e.g. Empty Child/ Doctor Dances, this gives the impression these were separate stories when they are episode titles of the same story -the impression given then is that there have been far more pseudohistoricals in new Who than in old Who, which is actually not the case. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.243.14.47 (talk) 14:07, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

First of all, thank you for informing me of your decision. The primary reason that I removed the passage in which you inserted was because it lacked sources to verify them, and also because of the fact that it seemed like criticism of the page instead of being part of its actual content. Unfortunately I am not well familiar with Doctor Who, and only reached the page when patrolling on Recent Changes. I don't think I would be able to assist you in this situation, but what I do recommend is leaving your message on the article's talk page, and I'm positive that someone with the necessary knowledge can aid you in improving the article. I removed the non neutral point of view text posted by 71.235.154.73 for ResellerRatings because that guy was engaged in a months long edit war to push his agenda, and an admin finally undid all of his changes and locked the page for 6 months. I know from own experience that my odour gets fishlike after an alcohol binge , I spose that's already discovered by someone already and documented ? perhaps you if can find that, you can add the source to the article or you could leave it as is and just add a [reference needed] annotation . @141.237.51.35: Wikipedia is not a place for one to place their original research in. Your addition to the article seemed a lot like original research, so I removed it. As mentioned in the message I left on your talk page, if you can find a reliable source, no one is stopping you to do so, but I do not have the expertise on this subject. @SummerPhDv2.0: I'm pretty sure IGN rates everything with out-of-ten scores. I reviewed the IGN page for Yogi Bear and I noticed the two stars. The IGN guys actually gave the film a 4.0/10, with the "two stars" being the comment-like review of the film. I'll put 4.0/10 into the article instead, this time with a source of course. Ah, for that you would need to see the movie page that is a level above it. http://www.ign.com/movies/yogi-bear/theater-14286392 It shows the score here, but since the relevant sentence in the article quotes the review itself I referenced it to the review specifically. Hello, you recently restored the changes I made to the Strikeforce: Shamrock vs. Gracie  page. Although not detailed, I did leave an edit summary saying "Non factual edit deleted". The section I deleted from the article looks like the fight card of another event completely unrelated to Strikeforce: Shamrock vs. Gracie. It needs to be translated, and the French article itself wouldn't exactly count as a source. The original sources used in the French article (62 of them I count) would need to be referenced again in this article, and by doing this (proper translations and references) I think it would be great! I have edited and resubmitted the submission to the Spotify page. I do no have any conflict of interest you mentioned, however I have been observing this issue play out. OK Zamaster, I will be adding this topic agin with a citation of a June 1 2016 article by CNET about this. In that article they note about the lack of explicit filter: "Spotify is the one that doesn't. That's especially frustrating given its recent family-plan price drop, and it'll no doubt be a dealbreaker for some potential subscribers."

I would dispute however that comments about this issue by more than 5000 persons that is documented is not a 'credible source.' That certainly deserves mention.

If all Wikipedia additions were removed that had been added by someone with an opinion on an issue it would result a pretty lean Free Encyclopedia. This is a clear attempt to inform researchers of this service of a known issue that is controversial among thousands of users. According to the Wikipedia COI policy, this policy seems intended to prevent paid edition for public relations purposes, or editing of one's own information. Preventing highlighting of a recognizable issue using this rational seems to be unnecessary censoring of a real issue.
