July 2009 edit

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Japanese era name. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 05:06, 15 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Japanese era name. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The reason I reverted your edit is it has been considered as a spam link by other user. Furthermore, your converter is needed to type Japanese when users want to convert Japanese era name and year to Gregorian calender. This is English Wikipedia. Almost all users whose native language uses alphabet do not know how to type the name in Japanese. And the result is written in Japanese. That is not helpful for users who don't understand Japanese. There were already several converter links. So I thought the converter is useless at English Wikipedia. If it's all English converter, I wouldn't have reverted it. Regards.
