Hello, YehLikeJazz?, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Potential Articles

edit

M*A*S*H (TV series)

    • This is a bit of an advanced article but the more I look at it the more work I see needs to be done here both big stuff (some reorganizing) and small. So this would work.

Resistor

    • I'm mixed on whether this will be a good one. There is a LOT of content here and it does seem a bit too much and too sprawling for a Wiki article but I don't have a clear sense of what is to be done on first glance. Sometimes these technical articles can get this way. How comfortable are you with wading through both this kind of info and thinking about the history of the article and engaging with the people who might be watching it? It could work, but let me know if you want to do it -- I don't want to add it to the list without talking it over.

Impostor syndrome

  • This is an interesting one that has been the subject of 4 other student assignments. I think it is time for us to come in here and streamline it and make it more wikipedia appropriate. So, yes, a good find.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip

  • This one is to small and too on the mark. It probably needs some work but overall looks similar to what a phone article should look like.

Early thermal weapons

  • Ah, this is already a good article, but one that was designated a GA back in 2008. This has, in certain ways, caused the article not to develop...but I think we don't have the time to get it reassessed so that we can hack at it again.

Siege engine

  • This one might be a good one. Because it was organized historically it seems to have been limited in how it has developed. But I don't know that it should be organized historically...surely there are other ways to organize it to highlight different things. IF you think this is the case, then go for it.

Military parlance

  • This article is terrible and has remained so for a long time. I think if you did this one you'd have to do some research and writing to get things rolling in a different direction though since there wouldn't be much content left to work with once you refocused it where it probably needs to be. I'm gonna add it to the list though since it's a great example of a stalled article.

Ok, so you have some choices here. If you want to do the Resistor article, lmk, but you have other choices here that would work. Etherfire (talk) 21:46, 12 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
