Speedy deletion nomination of Man'oushe street

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Man'oushe street requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 331dot (talk) 13:30, 11 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello, I'm new here and I'm trying to add a restaurant on wikipedia, can you please help me doing that the right way

Decline reason:

Per the conversation below and the content of your now-deleted edits, I think it's evident that you're not here to contribute constructively. Kinu t/c 06:19, 1 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I don't think you understand what Wikipedia is. It's not a directory, where anyone can have an entry. It's an encyclopaedia where notability (WP:CORP in this case) has to be shown, and proved with reliable independent sources WP:RS. On social media and in directories, you can advertise or promote your business. That's not the case here. I would also advise you to look at other articles, and compare them with what you have been posting. We do have a 'house style' that needs to be followed. Hello, Thanks for the information, can you help me with this, can you go through the article that I wrote and let me know what shall I change since I need to add it urgently, Thank you in advance

Why do you "urgently" need to add the information? only (talk) 21:15, 31 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Dear Sir, I need it urgently because I need to verify my FB page and Twitter account and I need it to be reference to the people in UAE

You don't need a Wikipedia page to verify your Facebook or Twitter accounts (If they actually do require this, they're bloody idiots), "need[ing] it to be [a] reference" is another way to say "I'm abusing Wikipedia's Alexa rank", and you seem to confuse us for a travel site. We are a general encyclopædia first and foremost. I have undone the unblock templates for your later two replies; only one unblock request is allowed at a time. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 21:24, 31 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Sir, It is actually a restaurant, how can I have it on wikipedia?

Repeatedly asking how you can get it on Wikipedia while blocked for spamming is not helping your case what-so-ever. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 21:58, 31 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
