November 2013 edit

Hello, I'm Jprg1966. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Jordan national football team without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Amer Ali edit

You have created alot of external links lately. They have all been in the wrong format.

Wrong way : [[https://www.facebook.com/amer.shafee.10?fref=pb|Amer Shafi on Facebook]]
Correct way: [https://www.facebook.com/amer.shafee.10?fref=pb Amer Shafi on Facebook]

I've fixed the links in Amer Ali. Bgwhite (talk) 01:26, 1 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

As you refuse to add external links correctly, are removing one or two brackets off of wikilinks and removing {{reflist}} from articles that have references, your edits will be reverted. You are crossing into vandalism territory. Please stop vandalizing articles. Future vandalism will result in your account being blocked. Bgwhite (talk) 00:39, 2 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

You get off your block and what do you do? You vandalize Jordan national football team. You are still creating external links wrong. Bgwhite (talk) 08:21, 13 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry, but I still don't understand what I did wrong? Am I missing something?
You keep changing or removing information from Jordan national football team. You get reverted and you add it again. You have done this atleast 15 times now. This is called vandalism and edit warring.
You keep adding external links wrong.
You keep adding facebook links to a different person than who is in the article.
I and others have left warnings and pleas, yet you never respond back. How can anyone know what you are doing if your don't respond or leave edit summaries? Bgwhite (talk) 07:31, 15 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with you for the following reasons: 1) The only information I change on the page Jordan national football team is the Current squad, Recent players, and current technical/coaching staff and that's always been my job because I've always been the only one here on Wiki to do that since no one else helps. 2) I never add inappropriate links to articles that have to do with Jordanian teams or footballers. 3) Every Facebook link I've added onto most articles of Jordanian footballers match the same person and profile.

And if you think I'm wrong, then provide me with some proof or evidence. I do this stuff because I enjoy contributing to articles regarding Jordanian football(ers) here on Wiki and I know more about this stuff than anyone else here on Wiki.

  1. Jordan national football team: You were reverted every time after you edited it. You were reverted by multiple people. You did not list your sources. You did not responded to any talk page messages.
  2. "I never add inappropriate links" I'm saying you added them wrong. You did not format the links properly and thus many did not work. Look at any edit you did in which you edited the external link section. You formatted ones that were already on the page from the right way to the wrong way. Again, messages were left on your talk page and you never responded.
  3. "Facebook": On one footballer you left a link to a person with the same name, but with a 20 year age difference and living in another country. Others you added had no mention that they could be the footballer or could be the correct person. There has to be some proof on the Facebook page that they might be the footballer you are linking them to.
  4. You have been working in a bubble. You have not responded to anyone's message left here. Multiple people have left messages in English and Arabic. You have never acknowledged anyone's message anywhere.
  5. If you don't change your ways, you will be blocked again for much longer. So, it is in your best interest to write an external link correctly. It is in your best interest not to vandalize "Jordan national football team" and make referenced additions. Bgwhite (talk)

I'm sorry I believe there was a misunderstanding for the following reasons:

1) The last time I edited Jordan national football team, the only sections I edited and changed on that page were Current squad and recent players.

2) Every Facebook link I've shared on many Jordanian footballers match their profiles info and they're the same people, and I should know because I know everything about Jordanian footballers. Their Facebook profiles don't need to contain all info about themselves because they like to keep most info about them a bit private on social networking, and some of the footballers themselves don't like to share (all) of their actual info with others, and some of them would even leave info about themselves unchanged on Facebook.

With all due respect, you may know more about Wikipedia than me, but I know way more about Jordanian footballers than you and everyone else here on Wikipedia, and you guys don't have the right to block me from editing any pages for sharing true info and contributing to pages that have been created by my IP address. I apologize if I seriously have violated any rules here on Wikipedia before, but please do not block me ever again from editing or contributing to Wikipedia.

Last warning edit

You get off of a block and you are back to your hold habits. This is your last warning before an extended block.

  1. You get off a block and your first action is to again edit Jordan national football team [1]. An article in which every edit of yours has been reverted by multiple people.
  2. You continue to write external links wrong. [2]
  3. You continue to add bad Facebook links. [3]
  4. You continue to add bad, unsourced information. You added 10 caps in this edit when he has only done 2. You added 10 caps in this edit when the refs say 8. You added 78 caps in this edit when the refs only show 57
  5. You continue to blindly revert. In the above edit where you changed 57 caps to 78, you have reverted twice, which includes converting properly formatted external links to a broken format.

Yalladar edit

Following posted at User talk:IslamicHeroes623 and User_talk:Bgwhite#Yalladar

Well, you are right about one thing, I am Yalladar. But, you are also wrong about another, with all due respect, I'm not the one making any mistakes, you are. And if you disagree with me, at least explain why or prove it, instead of getting me into a lot of trouble. Look, I'm not trying to do anything wrong here on Wikipedia, I'm just here creating and editing articles of Jordanian football players, coaches, and teams. I don't mean to brag, but honestly, I have the most knowledge about stuff like this or anything relating to it here on Wikipedia. I know what I'm doing. I'm just trying to help by making contributions to Wikipedia, is that so wrong?! I apologize if I really have ever violated any of this website's laws or done anything else wrong. And every time I say something like this to people like you who always get me into trouble here on this website, they never reply because they know they're wrong, and no matter how many more times you guys try to stop me from contributing to this website, I will not stop!!! We both know I'm not doing anything wrong, or at least not trying to. You guys have always been unfair with me by banning me from contributing anymore for no valid reason. So basically, you guys get me in trouble by helping you. The only ones who you should be getting in trouble are those who get into edit wars with me and those who provide inaccurate information on articles like those, and I'm not one of them. I have just as much right to contribute just like anyone else here on Wikipedia. Listen, all I'm asking is for you guys to stop reverting or deleting my edits, reporting me to Wiki authorities, and having me banned from contributing. What harm can be done?! IslamicHeroes623 (talk)

Just above this post, I laid out what you are doing wrong. Also in the section, "January 2014", I also laid out what you are doing wrong.
You did the exact same things with your edits as IslamicHeroes623:
  1. With this edit, you added non existent Facebook page.
  2. With this edit, you reverted my edit. There is no evidence he played on a U-22 team. You did external links wrong.
  3. With this edit, you reverted my edit. There is no evidence he has 8 caps for the senior national team. You changed the time period he has been on the national team. What refs say. You added a Facebook page for the wrong person. You did external links wrong.
  4. With this [ edit], you reverted my edit. There no evidence he has 10 caps for senior national team. What refs say. You removed DEFAULTSORT, which is required on all biography article. You did external links wrong. You added a Facebook page for someone with a different name.
I've laid out multiple times what you are doing wrong. You have been reverted over 15 times on Jordan national football team by multiple people. You are doing things wrong. You are adding inaccurate information. You are edit warring by reverting and reverting to bad information you added. Follow the rules and people will not revert you. Add accurate Facebook pages. Add external links correctly. Add factually information backed up by references. Bgwhite (talk) 22:47, 15 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Look I'm not going to repeat myself, I've already told you and others more than once that I know more about this or anything pertaining to Jordanian football players, coaches, and teams more than everyone else here on Wikipedia, I am one of the biggest fans of Jordanian football and I did create most articles of Jordanian footballers and teams, as well as improved/adjusted those that were not created by me. And I'm not adding any inaccurate information, you guys are. If it's "inappropriate links" you guys are mostly having problems with, then I'll just stop and back off.

And you are WRONG about the following:

1) This player Alaa' Al-Marafi does have a Facebook page, he just doesn't use it much.

2) This player Bilal Qwaider really did play with Jordan U-22, he even scored 2 goals, one against Oman in the 2014 AFC U-22 Asian Cup and one against UAE in a U-22 friendly before that tournament. And if you don't believe me, then go see for yourself.

3) All information on www.national-football-teams.com relating to the number of international matches Jordanian footballers have played is totally inaccurate, they don't count or include every single match a Jordanian footballer has played and I don't know why so don't ask. But, I myself have actually been keeping track of the number of matches these players have participated in.

4) All the Facebook links I share on the articles of Jordanian footballers match their profiles, and I should know because I actually know these players unlike you, and I actually know what I'm doing and saying. So from now on, think more than once before sharing inaccurate or false info, and you're the one who should be backing off, not me!

P.S. These footballers don't need to share (all) (true) information about themselves on Facebook, like how they name their Facebook pages or how they spell them, that doesn't matter, what matters is that if they're the same people and that if their Facebook pages match their profiles here on this website.

  1. All three edits I mentioned and mention again had wrong Facebook additions. If a link doesn't exist, you don't add it. If a player already has a Facebook link, you don't add a second one to who knows who. You don't add a Facebook link that goes to a different person. I'm removing them not because they are Facebook, I'm removing them because of no content or to different people.
  1. Alaa' Al-Marafi's Facebook page does not exist. You don't add any link when the link as nothing.
  2. Your Munther Abu Amarah edit added another Facebook link. There was already one there and it was about the footballer. Who knows who you added. You also added it wrong so one couldn't click on it. It was broken.
  3. With Tareq Khattab's edit, you added a Facebook link to someone spelled different and you removed a reliable ref.
  1. http://www.national-football-teams.com is a reliable reference around here. They do include every senior, non-friendly match played. All additions must be sourced. You don't add anything without a source. You don't add what you think it should be. You add to what the sources say.
  2. All external links have to be added correctly
  3. Add ENGLISH references. http://kooora.com is not an English reference. Use their English site.
  4. You do not know more than anyone else around here. With all the people reverting you, with all the wrong additions and with all the links added incorrectly, you do have a problem. Follow the rules. Add only sourced material. You are not above the rules. Bgwhite (talk) 00:25, 17 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Let me tell you something:

  1. Some Jordanian footballers have more than one Facebook page, so why do you have a problem with their other ones being added to their profiles here on Wikipedia? I assure you that all the Facebook links I share on the articles of Jordanian footballers here on this website match their profiles. And I already told you, these footballers name their Facebook pages a bit differently, either by spelling them different from the way their names are actually spelled or by giving their pages different names.
  2. http://www.national-football-teams.com is no where near 100% accurate when it comes to keeping track of the number of international matches Jordanian footballers have played, and no they do not include non-international friendlies. I have better sources, but they can't be shared here on Wikipedia, so instead I keep track myself.
  3. What's wrong with sharing Non-English references and links here on Wikipedia?! That's been done here on Wikipedia before and no one has ever had a problem with that. And the English site of http://kooora.com hardly has any information about Jordanian footballers or teams, it mostly doesn't and it's weak. The Arabic site is much better and has (almost) all information relating to stuff like this.
  4. When it comes to edit wars I'm the victim, and those who keep reverting my edits, like you, just don't understand, and I'm not the only one whose edits always get reverted because of my "inaccuracy", I'm pretty sure others have a similar problem, they get into edit wars with each other in articles relating to Jordanian footballers, and so basically you're acting like I'm the only one who is sharing "false" or "inaccurate" information when I'm the (only) one who was contributing (the most) by creating most of these articles and improving others, when I'm one of the few who first brought and shared this information to Wikipedia, and you're acting like I'm the only one who is causing all this trouble, and that is so not true. And yeah, you were right when you told me "You are not above the rules" because I don't much about rules here on this website, but what I am above of is information pertaining to Jordanian football, which I know more than you and many others about. I have access to particular information relating to this, and so should you, especially since you think you know a lot about stuff like this too.

I apologize for offending you, but all I ask of you and of those who are doing the same is to stop getting me into all of this trouble. The least you could do is appreciate my contributions to Wikipedia. I help share information relating to Jordanian footballers and teams and i enjoy it to. But just so you know, if it weren't for me, most information of Jordanian footballers and teams would not exist here on this website. And without me, I'm afraid it might end up like that again. I am just trying to help, is that so wrong?! No matter how many more times you guys try to stop or block me from contributing to this website, I will never stop, whether you like it or not!!!!!!

You just had to go ahead and edit and do things wrong. You are the one getting yourself in trouble. Your refusal to add references to back up your claims. Your refusal to add external links correctly. You add English references because this is ENGLISH WIKIPEDIA where people don't speak Arabic.
  1. Your edit on Bilal_Qwaider. You change correct external links to incorrect. You change a external link to a reference when the link is dead. You change a Facebook link to an incorrect one and one that does not goto the right person. You add information but no references.
  2. Your edit on Hassan Abdel-Fattah. You removed information without stating why. You once again broke external links. You changed cap and goal numbers without references. You changed his name without references.
  3. Your edit on Mohammad Al-Dawud What does a "My Brilliance With Hidd SCC of Bahrain is My Gateway to Returning to the Jordan national football team" have to do with any ref. This is not a reference. Same for your other additions.
This is you last chance. Any additions without references will be reverted and you will be blocked. Add external links correctly. Valid reference is the key word. You are doing this to yourself, not me. You are the one refusing to add refs. You are the one adding bad information... again, friendlies don't count toward totals. Add English references where available. You have to abide by the same rules we all do. Bgwhite (talk) 06:30, 17 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Baha' Faisal edit

The article Baha' Faisal has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence this footballer meets WP:GNG or has played in a fully pro league.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. C679 16:24, 9 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
