Hello, I'm Vinegarymass911. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Habibur Rahman (Police Officer) seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Vinegarymass911 (talk) 05:25, 9 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

A belated welcome!

edit

The welcome may be belated, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Yahya. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{help me}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome!  Masum Ibn Musa  Conversation 05:08, 12 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Correct typos in one click

edit

Hi, can I query some of your recent corrections, which I noticed as Wikipedia:Correct typos in one click is on my watchlist:

@TSventon:   Agree and sorry for the mistake. ~Yahya () • 19:29, 12 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for checking, I have reversed the Shakespeare's sonnets correction and corrected Michael von Graffenried. I would suggest that poetry, obscure technical language and archaic English generally do not need to be corrected. And if you are unsure, you can always leave a word to see if it makes more sense to the next person. Doing an internet search can be helpful: that is how I found that insolcite ence should be insolence. TSventon (talk) 23:32, 12 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Unspecified source/license for File:Hbc logo.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Hbc logo.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 15:45, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Hbc logo.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Hbc logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:50, 25 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Jaya Ahsan. Thank you. --Hipal/Ronz (talk) 21:50, 10 October 2020

Hi @Hipal:, this is automated/semi-automated message, right? I only reverted a vandal edit.~Yahya () • 05:27, 11 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
