If U Seek Amy edit

Hi
Could you come to Talk:Circus (Britney Spears album)#Confirmation of third single by Jive Records and engage in discussion? Currently we only have unreliable forum comments claiming that it's going to be the next single, if you feel differently please explain on that talk page.

Princess Maria Adelgunde of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen edit

Womanizer, an article I recently created, Princess Maria Adelgunde of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen, has been nominated for deletion here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Princess Maria Adelgunde of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen. Please take the time to weigh in and stop its deletion. Thanks again for all your wonderful contributions to Wikipedia! Caponer (talk) 17:33, 17 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, if you don't mind me asking. How do you create them in that program? ---Shadow (talk) 06:59, 9 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php?title=Making_Ringtones is a very helpful tutorial, it's the Edit your ringtone part from 1 to 3. And before saving the file, you have to move the quality to 0 in Edit--> Preferences and save it as OGG Vorbis. -Xwomanizerx (talk) 3:42, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Piece of Me edit

The article is on-nold for only 2 days due to the quick fail criteria. Please address them immediately. --Legolas (talk2me) 09:13, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

3 song Recording Date edit

It does not matter whether or not it came from a "fansite". The is enough paparazzi footage and information from news articles that mention and show her coming to Maratone Studios and leaving there on both July 12 and July 18. She never came there again between July 13-17. Instead of undoing what I posted, please read other articles/sources so that there will be enough factual evidence for you. Thank You Carmaker1 (talk) 20:14, 24 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Excuse me? edit

You know what? I don't really care. I don't have time to argue with bitter people on this site over such an article. You are not in the place to tell me whether or not I can edit a page efficiently on this site. From what I see numerous articles with album or single info boxes are written that way or simply have it empty. I'll just re-post it with a new source. Keep your petty comments to yourself. If you think you know everything, you certainly don't. Carmaker1 (talk) 03:42, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

3 edit

Could you please leave the release history alone. It's the way it is for a reason (verifiable) you remove all the citation. Please leave it. Jayy008 (talk) 23:11, 8 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Singles Collection edit

Do you have the album? You said the booklet was the source of your edits so I was just wondering if you had it or you saw scans of it. If you say scans where did you see them? ---Shadow (talk) 03:19, 9 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Brazil Hot 100 vs. Billboard Brasil edit

The chart at www.hot100brasil.com is not from Billboard Brazil. It is an amateur chart listed on WP:BADCHARTS. Please don't edit chart listings to make it appear to be an official chart.—Kww(talk) 14:02, 17 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

3 (song) edit

I saw you nominated Britney Spears' new single "3". And it is in Good GA shape, but the song is still high up in charts. So it is a current event and can't pass GA. I committed the same error with the article The Time of Our Lives (EP), well it was in good shape before IP's messed around with it. Anyways, I just came to warn you and to take the nomination down. -- Ipodnano05 (talk) 19:07, 22 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your GA noms edit

If U Seek Amy - spelling edit

Please do not change "intended" to 'intented", as "intented" is not an English word. Chris the speller (talk) 05:16, 3 December 2009 (UTC) It's ok, I didn't notice the mistake. Xwomanizerx (talk) 13:14, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Samples edit

If there's already existing samples of a song, don't upload new copies and replace them with your own. If there is something inherently wrong with the uploaded sample, bring it up, so it will get replaced correctly. Q T C 06:03, 13 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Preview edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In the future, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Tour Dates edit

I didn't see any other tour examples (or rules stating it had to look like that) besides the two Britney tours like that so I figured it was suppose to be in the middle of the page. So sorry about those edits. --Shadow (talk) 22:05, 31 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

File copyright problem with File:Touch of my hand - The Onyx Hotel Tour.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Touch of my hand - The Onyx Hotel Tour.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 20:07, 9 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

The above article is on hold and waits improvement for pass or fail. --Legolas (talk2me) 09:56, 11 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Crazy 2K Tour, from my research I found that it received least notability in media, being probably the extension of the original tour. You can check the article Sticky & Sweet Tour as to how the 2009 extension of the tour was merged in the original article. --Legolas (talk2me) 06:23, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
You can add something like, An extension of the tour, titled Crazy 2K, was announced on.. --Legolas (talk2me) 06:36, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Why do your timestamps follow non-standard formatting? edit

Just curious, why do your signature timestamps follow non-standard formatting? Are you typing them out manually or something? I'm asking because this causes them not to work with any existing bots and scripts that make use of signature timestamps. Gary King (talk) 19:21, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Just type ~~~~ to automatically create your signature, including a timestamp. Nice job with the "I'm still new here" comment too, you almost got me ;) Gary King (talk) 19:44, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Your Reverts To Womanizer edit

I suggest you mind the act of reverting that edit again. I am not pulling dates out of thin air like some users do here, as I had one of them blocked. X17 online is certainly NOT a fansite, it is a celebrity media website that distastefully uses paparazzi to photograph(hound) and film celebrities in the developed world. Fansites are CREATED solely by FANS of a celebrity or group of celebrities. While I certainly disagree with their media-taking practices, they have provided DATED video evidence for me to present in that article. Britney Spears was seen wearing the same hairdo and orange turtleneck on September 15, 2008 in the video. She more importantly was seen leaving a recording studio with a personal set of cameramen who were none other than MTV's film crew. By watching the re-recording of Womanizer on the MTV special, it pointed out to me that both videos take place within the same 24 hours. The re-recording took place either on the late evening of September 14 or the midnight/early morning of September 15, 2008. Another user already edited that to reflect the VIDEO evidence and you TOOK it upon yourself to remove it for some personal reason. You and I are not administrators and cannot edit everything based solely on a personal opinion. Please remember that and make no effort to revert the listed recording date of September 2008. If you do that, I will need to take it up with a higher position of authority, as your excuse doesn't hold weight.Carmaker1 (talk) 07:05, 28 January 2010

I believe that we're all trying to make Wikipedia a better place and provide a wide coverage about Britney. However, you insist on putting video links as sources with no citation style. The x17 online doesn't really say she recorded Womanizer that way. However, the Youtube link is from For the Record, which is a released DVD and can qualify as a source. Since its in the infobox and similar information is present in the background section, it doesn't need as a source and i will leave it. On the other hand, I really don't know what's your deal. You must think i have something against you, which i obviously don't. And all those comments about "take it up with a higher position of authority" made me laugh. You're not in the place to threaten me as i'm not in the place to threaten you or any other Wikipedia editor. Anyway, thanks. Xwomanizerx (talk) 14:19, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

promo tours edit

well, sorry, but I nominated it because both articles are horrendous. You still can improve the Promo tours article and fight for it, but as I see it, it is a really weak article. And for the Concert tours article, well, it doesn't have any good and new information. If you split the articles both will be weak, so people could nominate them for deletion. Together they make the article better. If you can improve both article, I will change my mind and support you, but 'til then, I'll keep seeing both articles as wrong and weak. Fortunato luigi (talk) 05:35, 29 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

To be clear, I wasn't using the word "weak" in the there-is-a-lack-of-sources way. But I think that BS has just toured a few times. I mean, she has only six concert tours 'til now (BTW, they are six, the ...Baby One More Time Tour and the Crazy 2K Tour are diferent, you are listing them as the same) and the promo tours. Those tours (concert and promo tours) are very few, and what you are doing, or at least trying to do, is split them. That is like if someone were trying to split the List of concert tours by Michael Jackson and The Jackson 5 into three differents articles: one for MJ, other for the J5 and other for the Jacksons. Those articles would be weak, shorts, or like wikipedia call them, stubs. I am trying to keep the BS' Concert an Promo tours together. I think its ok tho meet the standards on the MJ article, but I am not ok with split them. Fortunato luigi (talk) 05:52, 29 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I understand why you merge them. You are right, the mall tour have no sources, but what about the Promo Tours? They have no sources like the mall tour, so split the Promo tours from the Concert tousr could bring the posibillity to deletion, like I did. At least when the Promo Tours are on the same article with the concert tours, the article has sources, so be together help. Fortunato luigi (talk) 06:12, 29 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I see. Well, the M+Ms Tour Should be listed somewhere, cuz that promo tour is not from Tv performances or something like that. That was a real Promo Tour, but, if the other promo tours are crap, why did you separate them? That support my idea of delete the article about the Promo Tours Fortunato luigi (talk) 06:36, 29 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
There's an article for The M+M's Tour that i'm going to link from the concert tours article. I don't know what should we do for the mall tour, since is not really that important. Xwomanizerx (talk) 14:47, 29 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of List of Britney Spears promo tours edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of Britney Spears promo tours. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Britney Spears promo tours. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Circus Tour Britney arena.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Circus Tour Britney arena.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The license on Flickr is Attribution-Noncommercial 2.0 Generic. That license is not free enough (problem is "Noncommercial"). Therefore we need the Flickr user to change license or send a permission. Also uploading the image to Commons would be better because there we have tools to transfer images from Flick and also they make sure that the license is reviewed. That way image could be kept even if Flickr user changes the license on Flickr. MGA73 (talk) 12:03, 8 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Brazilian charts edit

The situation on Brazilian charts is pretty confusing. There's the chart on WP:BADCHARTS from brasilhot100.com, and that needs to be removed. Billboard Brazil then started up, and uses the Brazil Hot 100 name, but didn't sue brasilhot100.com for infringing Billboard's trademark. Unfortunately, they don't archive their chart online, so it isn't kosher to link to the Billboard Brazil website. However, linking directly to the physical magazine is perfectly legitimate.—Kww(talk) 00:23, 9 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Britney Spears Woodstock.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Britney Spears Woodstock.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — ξxplicit 00:59, 12 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
