Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Eritrean involvement in the Tigray War, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bloomberg. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Thanks for identifying the source of the material in your edit.
This type of edit does get picked up by Copy Patrol and a good edit summary helps to make sure we don't accidentally revert it. However, for future use, would you note the best practices wording as outlined at Wikipedia:Copying_within_Wikipedia? In particular, adding the phrase "see that page's history for attribution" helps ensure that proper attribution is preserved.
I've noticed that this guideline is not very well known, even among editors with tens of thousands of edits, so it isn't surprising that I point this out to some veteran editors, but there are some t's that need to be crossed.S Philbrick(Talk) 12:36, 12 October 2022 (UTC)

Photo Collage
Hello, first and foremost, I'd like to thank you for your fantastic work on the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war article. I undid your good faith edit, in which you replaced the info box map with a photo collage. The map is more informative and provides more useful information, which is beneficial to the readers. Where the photo also causes confusion about how the photos were chosen; there are thousands of photos from that war; which photos best represent it, and so on. December 2022
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Amhara genocide, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Dawit S Gondaria (talk) 19:04, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Dawit S Gondaria I understand your concern here, but I just moved the older comments to an archive (which is viewable through a search bar at the top of the page), I haven’t actually deleted them outright. It’s considered common practice to archive old discussions in order to not bloat the page. Thank you. XTheBedrockX (talk) 19:41, 6 December 2022 (UTC)

- Heya, passing by here. Thanks for archiving. Although, it might be better to be more explicit and link to the archive page in your edit summary next time instead of just 'archived other discussions'. I did had to look to see if there's a new archive page created when your edit came up in my watchlist earlier. Cheers! – robertsky (talk) 23:50, 6 December 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ban of violent video games in Germany
A tag has been placed on Ban of violent video games in Germany requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. MB 01:56, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
