Proposed deletion of Eden (Johnston novel)

edit

The article Eden (Johnston novel) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non-notable book

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Status and Advice

edit

As reviewing administrator, I did not delete this, But it would be better to merge this and also The white Tower into the article for the author; there's almost no content except the plot, and this is very strongly discouraged. (The plot should in each case be abbreviated into a single paragraph, and it is essential to give the denouement--even for a detective story. An advertisement or a web posting would be written as a teaser, but we're an encyclopedia-- see WP:SPOILERfor an explanation. The article is meant to tell someone who has not read it about the book, or remind one who has--not to induce people to read it. nd make certain your plot summaries do not contain a copy or Close paraphrase of previously published material, such as Amazon or a book jacket or web site. If there is, rewrite that part from scratch, changing not just the words, but the arrangement. DGG ( talk ) 14:34, 30 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
