Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Michelle Dubois. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. — Smjg (talk) 19:03, 13 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Official MEP Portrait of Annunziata Rees-Mogg.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Official MEP Portrait of Annunziata Rees-Mogg.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --Cameron11598 (Talk) 20:15, 18 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

To clarify, the English Wikipedia doesn't accept fair use photos for living people. It is assumed a freely licensed photo can be procured while they are still alive. Killiondude (talk) 20:18, 18 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

/* 2021_Hyndburn_Borough_Council_election */ ... still waiting for HBC ... edit

Hiya,

Just to let you know, I'm still waiting for HBC-electoral offices to publish their Full Declaration/COMPLETE numbers (not just those raw-numebrs, live tweeted/posted to facebook on the day), including ALL of the actual ward-by-ward turnouts and spoilt-ballot counts - more than TWO WEEKS' after the fact.

  • Apparently they've had some work-backlogs (probably related to their recent 2021-CENSUS workload), staff shortages(Covid) and technical-difficulties (website-updating) ...

I'll keep prompting them / keep checking their website over the coming weeks ///// months ??? until I can back-fill in ALL of the 2021-results.

Fingers XXX'd

And thanks again, for doing your MAP-magic (!)

--- UPDATED : Tuesday May-25th >>> finally got my hands on the FULL Declaration figures, for the HBC local election results ...

Hi Warren, brilliant stuff as always, keep up the good work :D
