A belated welcome! edit

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Wikimann1234. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 00:21, 2 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much! This led me to the missing manual of Wikipedia, which is what I've needed all along. This is such a great help, you're the only administrator whose helped me so far! Thanks!Wikimann1234 (talk) 00:42, 2 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
I just realized that I appealed the block before I read this. I am so sorry, I didn't know you put it at the top of my page. Again, thanks for the info, I realized after Sable232 and I started conflicting I should've seeked higher authority. I was also wondering, what my next step should be before appealing again. Should I try to engage in dispute mediation with Sable232? Again, thanks!Wikimann1234 (talk) 01:05, 2 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

July 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Wikipedia. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. October 2011 edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   or   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Fleet Command (talk) 18:08, 14 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Toyota Yaris, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. - David Biddulph (talk) 00:52, 19 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Toyota Yaris, you may be blocked from editing. - David Biddulph (talk) 00:54, 19 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately, the sandobx is useless. Once you use the sandbox, you have to go back and completely rewrite what you used the sandbox for, effectively defeating the purpose of the sandbox. Wikimann1234 10.18.11

Stop telling me I'm not signing my posts!!! edit

I've signed allmy posts, whether it's been before I save or a minute after!!! I'm tired of seeing that I didn't sign my post even though I sign my posts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikimann1234 (talkcontribs) 01:49 (UTC), 15 October 2011‎

Firstly you didn't sign the above message, and secondly the reason that you are still getting warnings is that where you are attempting a signature it doesn't comply with what is called for at WP:Signature, which is one of the links provided in the warnings. SineBot is an automated process, and it will continue to give warnings for as long as you don't comply with the rules implemented in the bot. It's not difficult to type 4 tildes or to hit the signature button on the edit toolbar. - David Biddulph (talk) 04:06, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Why do I need to sign my posts on my own page?

November 2011 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. --Sable232 (talk) 01:32, 30 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you vandalize a page, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --Sable232 (talk) 01:10, 1 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

You can't possibly be unaware that your editing is proving disruptive. This has nothing to you with "removing vandalism," little, if anything, you've done can even begin to be described as such. Making incorrect links, removing links, deleting content (sometimes referenced!) you find objectionable, and making half-done page moves and other edits that push an obvious bias are quite unhelpful.

You say the Freestyle and Taurus X are station wagons and not crossovers, yet you changed the Subaru Forester article to say it's a crossover and not a wagon. You can't call the former a wagon just because you don't like the term "crossover." Like it or not, that's its market position. --Sable232 (talk) 01:26, 1 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Try crossover (automobile). --Sable232 (talk) 01:35, 1 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:

I noticed I've recently been blocked from disruptive editing. I was not given a reason why, and I am not sure what lead me to this, so I would like to be presented with Wikipedia's guidelines, which I haven't been presented. I looked and couldn't find much guideline information. Thank you for your time.

Decline reason:

See the posting on this page timed at 01.26 December 1. And you have yet again refused to sign your last post, this time your unblock request. Given it takes only a single click, why is this such a problem to you?--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 17:44, 1 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

It's clearly stated in the blocking section that a user must be told at the time of the block why what they were doing was wrong. I did later find out about the dispute place where you can solve problems with others, but this wan't presented to me at all. I was engaging in edit wars with one user whose name I will not mention, and I realize I should've solved it in a more professional manner. If unblocked and directed to where I can learn the editing etiquette on Wikipedia, I promise to not make any more edits until I've read these.Wikimann1234 (talk) 21:20, 1 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You have an ENTIRE PAGE telling you what you're doing wrong, how to fix it, and providing links to policies that can help. When you were blocked, you were provided a similar link to policies when you were advised as to why you were being blocked. We're not averse to unblocking - "indefinite" means "until you satisfy the community that the problems will not recur". So, based on the whole whack of links and policies, what did you do wrong, why was it wrong, and how will you ensure it won't happen again? (see WP:GAB for hints) (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 00:20, 2 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
