Welcome to project Afro!
Glad you joined. We're in the middle of rating the articles on the assessment scale. If you'd like to help with that project let me know... Otherwise, use the talk page at WP:AFRO to let us know about any articles you feel could be improved or any issues you find while editing. Again, welcome! futurebird 05:07, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, Thanks for the welcome. Wiki Raja 06:12, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
FA ratings
WikiRaja, please do not tag articles as FA unless they have officially passed WP:FAC. Thanks, Blnguyen (bananabucket) 03:02, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know that class/importance tages for articles need to be officially passed. I have placed an FA tag here without realizing and have no problem with you taking it off for official reasons. However, there was no reason for you to remove the whole WikiProject template here. If you wish to complain about personal attacks against you, the best place to do is probably at Administrator Intervention against Vandalism and not on individual admin's pages. DMcMPO11AAUK/Talk/Contribs 07:30, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
A deletion debate is not the place to complain about another user's behaviour either. DMcMPO11AAUK/Talk/Contribs 09:09, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Wiki Raja, have you considered disabling email from other users so that this doesn't continue to be a problem? I realize that the software doesn't let you selectively disable email. Pardon me if you've been asked before.--chaser - t 03:58, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
Removal of Warnings
Having looked at the page histories of various pages, it is apparent from the edit logs that (1) you moved a relevant comment in an ongoing debate to a position where it's prominence was greatly reduced, and that (2) when you received a legitimate warning about this action you claimed that the warning was vandalism. Whilst I may agree that not every warning that has been posted on your talk page is legitimate, I do feel that the warning posted on 29 September by Snowolfd4 for editing the debate was a legitimate. It is my belief that you should not have removed that warning. I would also suggest that you should not change pages in other editors' user space yourself. If you discover material on such pages that you feel needs to be removed, it might be better to seek consensus for such changes as you feel are needed with the editors involved, or failing that, seek consensus from the wider community here. Incidentally, if you find this comment of mine so offensive that you insist on removing it as vandalism, perhaps you could kindly point out to me what it is about this comment of mine that offends you. DMcMPO11AAUK/Talk/Contribs 15:53, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, with all due respect I would not remove your warning since it is a legitimate one. As for the previous ones, and the one doubly posted on my page by Netmonger, these are not warnings but abusive messages. Other than that I appreciate you taking the time to point this out to me. Regards. Wiki Raja 16:05, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of User:Wiki Raja/Sri Lanka State Terrorism
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. snowolfD4 ( talk / @ ) 03:50, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi there. Ya i've heard of this movie, but have not watched it yet. Havent been in the mood for indie movies lately :p I cant find the dvd online. U can try. I think maybe for now its only availabale in Msia. Will let u know if i find out something new.
Btw, have seen this article: Waytha Moorthy Ponnusamy. Quite interesting, and it might be relevant to the Dravidian wikiproject. Cheers! kawaputratorque 02:20, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Slammin'
Wow. Love the banner. The only thing I'm wondering is why it has no color. Still, very, very nice. (Of course, I got no clue what the script says.) I remain impressed by your hard work on subject matter treating people of color for the project. Blessings. :) deeceevoice 07:01, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- I know, an admin made this and I have contacted her about the coloration of the wordings. From left to right, (Kannada script - Namaskara), (Telugu script - Namaskaramu), (Malayalam script - Namaskaram), (Tamil script - Vanakkam). They all say Greetings. Wiki Raja 07:02, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
Go to bed, bwoi! :p deeceevoice 07:04, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
Wouldn't it be great if we could just download languages into our brains and become instantaneously literate/fluent in the tongues of our choice? I wish, I wish, I wish.... That and world peace/justice for humankind -- and the environment (smiling toothily and giving a beauty pageant wave)
"Thank you. Thank you very much." ;)
It's back to deadlines for me. Elvis has now left the building.... deeceevoice 07:22, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thats quite interesting Wiki Raja. Three of the Dravidian language greetings derive from the Sanskrit namaskaram. Only Tamil is different. I suppose nearly every Indian language would then have a variant of Namaskara as their greeting. GizzaDiscuss © 13:06, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure they have their own greetings. Other than that, apart from Tamil language being introduced to Southeast Asia, some of the Tamil Brahmin priests brought Sanskrit with them too. Regards. Wiki Raja 19:19, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- Special thanks should go to Persian Poet Gal since she was the one who created the banner ad. Wiki Raja 05:38, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Malayalam Greetings
Hai,
Actually, the traditional word used is Vandanam.But its popularity has decreased.Christians use Namovagam in Kerala.
The banner is superb.Keep it up.
