Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at European theatre of World War II, you may be blocked from editing without further warnings. Thank you, - FlightTime (open channel) 18:52, 16 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring

edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on European theatre of World War II; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. - FlightTime (open channel) 18:53, 16 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Premiership of Margaret Thatcher to History of the United Kingdom under Margaret Thatcher (your addition has since been removed). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:17, 17 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Verifiability

edit

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Hymn of Olympiacos. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Incnis Mrsi (talk) 14:19, 8 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for uploading File:Flag of EOKA.jpg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 12 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Greek resistance

edit

Please stop your usual edits of changing the positions of the Greek resistance groups in the infobox. ELAS is placed at the top due to it (as sourced in the article) being the largest of the groups. It is separated with a line from the other groups due to the infighting (ELAS vs the others), while they are all still part of of the "Greek resistance" side. This has been explained to you many times and your persistent changes regarding this reverted. Yet, you have never responded to these and continued to change the positions several times... --Havsjö (talk) 13:15, 13 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48h for edit-warring, likely also sockpuppetry. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  User:Ymblanter (talk) 20:03, 15 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Unspecified source/license for File:Flag of КПСС.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Flag of КПСС.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 22:45, 5 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
