You probably didn't notice that those dictionaries aren't reliable published sources, please see WP:RS. There is more than just geographical factors of what makes up the New World, there is historic, cultural, and various factors which I would recommend you to see that Australia and Oceania is in fact part of the New World. Since you probably would not look more into it, I'll leave this matter in the hands of others who would probably better judge this topic. (N0n3up (talk) 05:38, 1 December 2014 (UTC))Reply
