Sherlock

I'd like to know why Sherlock (a show made, filmed, produced, edited, among other things) is considered in any way to be American.

Sherlock (TV series) appears to be a co-production

Judging from discussions on various talk pages, this appears to be described by the makers as a co-production between BBC and PBS. For instance, look at this link to pbs.org. It says "“Sherlock” is produced by Hartswood Films for BBC One and co-produced by MASTERPIECE". If you disagree with this judgment, you should get agreement of other editors before trying to change it again. Otherwise a block for edit warring is possible.
