Links to archives edit
Hi. It does not make sense to add links to archives that store people's papers. External links should lead to sources that can be reviewed online. See WP:EL, which explains what should be linked under the External links section. The first question to ask is "Is the site content accessible to the reader?" These archives are *not* accessible to our readers, so they should not appear here. -- Ssilvers (talk) 02:07, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
I believe that linking unique archival holdings to corresponding Wikipedia pages is an approved and established practice for libraries and archives.
