Re:Hello

Hello WeeJimmyFaeGorgie, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! Although it may have not been your intent, your article, "Edinburgh Minto Hotel", read like an advertisement. On Wikipedia, we have a policy in which advertising/spam is subject to on-sight deletion under speedy deletion criterion G11. Of course, you are certainly welcome to resubmit your article, but please ensure that the revised text is compliant with the policies and guidelines described at WP:ADS, WP:MOS, WP:V, WP:NPOV, WP:POV, and WP:GNG; otherwise, you run the risk of having the article deleted again. Once you have resubmitted your article, you may find WP:RFF helpful; the WP:RFF noticeboard has many editors who are more than willing to give you constructive criticism on your article and/or help edit your article. If you have any other questions or are in need of assistance, please feel free to let me know. FASTILY (TALK) 18:50, 30 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Well, I thought it was a relatively good article which established the notability of the subject, was written from a neutral point of view, and certainly didn't read like an advertisement. Is it possible to have the article resurrected into my user space or sandbox, in order that I may solicit further comment from a wider audience of editors with a view to having my web page restored upon further examination of the deleted content? You can ask for the contents to be placed in your userspace by going to WP:REFUND. --The Σ talkcontribs 02:17, 1 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Formal mediation has been requested

edit
The Mediation Committee has received a request for formal mediation of the dispute relating to "Rangers F.C.". As an editor concerned in this dispute, you are invited to participate in the mediation. Mediation is a voluntary process which resolves a dispute over article content by facilitation, consensus-building, and compromise among the involved editors. After reviewing the request page, the formal mediation policy, and the guide to formal mediation, please indicate in the "party agreement" section whether you agree to participate. Because requests must be responded to by the Mediation Committee within seven days, please respond to the request by 16 August 2012.

Discussion relating to the mediation request is welcome at the case talk page. Thank you.
