It seems quite clear that you have a vested interest in the Denbigh High School (England) and Yasmin Bevan articles (I know I'm not the only person to have suggested this). I made changes to those articles to keep them in a similar style to articles of the same nature and to remove unreferenced information which is possibly untrue. Feel free to add extra verifiable information to the articles (whilst maintaining the style) but please do not just revert my edits without any explanation at all - it's not polite! Welcome!

edit

Hello, Watkins89, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Denbigh High School (England), which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! -

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Denbigh High School (England). Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  — MusikAnimal talk 17:53, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Yasmin Bevan, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. →Davey2010→→Talk to me!→ 13:16, 22 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Yasmin Bevan. →Davey2010→→Talk to me!→ 14:24, 23 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hi there, I work within the Marketing department of this school and therefore offer factual inofrmation for such Wikipedia pages - thus my edits are entirely admirable. Please lift my ban from editing. Watkins89 (talk) 13:15, 27 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Who you work for is irrelevant. You are edit-warring, which is why you were blocked. If you resume edit-warring after your block, you'll be blocked for longer. OhNoitsJamie Talk 14:01, 27 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

June 2014 - Vandalism, Conflict of Interest and Promotion

edit

Hello, I'm Rocknrollmancer. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Denbigh High School (England) because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You have immediately re-added an embedded link in this article which I deleted with an appropriate edit summary. Embedded links are not allowed on Wikipedia (see WP:CITE#Avoid embedded links) - in this case it appears to be advertising. As an involved person (by self-declaration in your talk page) any edits should be avoided as these are strongly discouraged by Wikipedia policy and repeated additions of correctly-deleted material is regarded as vandalism. Please read conflict of interest and promotion sections. You have already been copiously advised of neutrality and edit warring.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 00:19, 25 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

January 2015 - Reverts and Conflict of Interest

edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Denbigh High School, Luton. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism. Please refrain from making any more changes to this article - you are connected to this school and Wikepedia policy is to discourage those connected from making changes. Whereas you are allowed to make corrections, reverting a previous edit from a regular Wikipedia editor without good reason and/or stating a reason is edit-warring. You have been previously warned and blocked for this. It is usual and expected to provide a reason for your changes by filling in the edit summary.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 20:27, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Denbigh High School, Luton. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. –Davey2010 Merry Xmas / Happy New Year 13:06, 9 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
