About H. G. Stephenson's article

Hello, it seems that this IP 194.168.124.50 has made a lot of edits on this article. I'm not sure if they are good edits are not, so I came here to ask for your opinion. If you have time, please skim through the article and point me out if it is a good edit or not, if it wasn't, please provide policy on why it is not a good edit. I'm a few days late...

...but thank you very much for saying I am glad you voiced your belief aloud, because it is something that I believe is a recurring issue with how users treat IP editors. We wouldn't tolerate an IP editor accusing a regular user of being a sockpuppet without evidence. I don't understand why it isn't considered dirty pool when the accusation, implied or not, is the other way around. There are plenty of editors who roam between IP addresses and have been recurring contributors to Wikipedia, and in fact have been reasonably effective in sniffing out vandals. There are lots of disruptive IPs too, of course, but we identify those based on their actions and not by presuming their intentions at ANI. I agree wholeheartedly with every word you say there, and i too am concerned with the way some of use treat some IP users. Thanks again! Happy days, ~ LindsayHello 16:24, 19 April 2023 (UTC)

Procedural notification

Hi, I and others have proposed additional options at Wikipedia:Village_pump_(policy)#RfC_on_a_procedural_community_desysop. You may wish to review your position in that RfC. TonyBallioni (talk) 02:31, 20 April 2023 (UTC)

Erratum in your comment

Hello, During a recent deletion review, you mentioned I was canvassing and ignoring the deletion outcome and wish for it to be "examined at a appropriate venue", whatever that means. I think you were thinking of another user (as I did not do any of this). Would you please read carefully the history of the page, and amend this, even if the discussion is now finished? Thank you.— MY, OH, MY! 16:47, 27 April 2023 (UTC)

  • @Mushy Yank: Yep, no problem. You're right that I got it totally wrong. Duly struck... Apologies for my inaccurate calumny. --WaltClipper -(talk) 16:55, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
No worries, thank you for fixing it. — MY, OH, MY! 19:25, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
