October 2021

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Elliott Nevitt article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 18:44, 17 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Here are some sources that I believe are sufficient and state his correct age: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/elliott-nevitt/profil/spieler/906902 https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-2020/person/90092681/elliott-nevitt https://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/elliott-nevitt_prs595572/person.shtml https://fbref.com/en/players/f0d8ee79/Elliott-Nevitt If you wish for me to provide more I will try to find more and if you have any further comments please state them here. Thanks.

Hi there, apologies for this but I have just seen that in an interview Nevitt stated that his age was 24 on the 27th August 2021. This is the link for the interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bw0AR03qV-0

Transfermarkt is definitely not a reliable source, and I doubt sortitoutsi or FBRef are either. Eurosport is, and the 25 March 1996 birth date is also verified by Soccerway. I have updated the article accordingly. However, if he was 24 in August 2021, then he would be born March 1997, not 1996? GiantSnowman 20:54, 18 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
This is quite a confusing one because there's many different sites saying different things. It would make sense for his birth year to be 1997 but I can't find anywhere where it says that. I'm not sure on what to do but if you have any suggestions that would be great. I'll try to find some more information about this. WL2S (talk) 15:46, 19 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hello again, sorry for the late reply. I've been having issues with my wi-fi. I have seen on the club's website that it says his birth date is the 30th October 1996 (https://www.tranmererovers.co.uk/teams/first-team/forward/elliott-nevitt/). This would make sense as he would've been 24 on the 27th August when he gave that interview. Sorry for all of this. WL2S (talk) 17:23, 13 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Infobox stats

edit

Please note that we only include domestic league games in the infobox - so no Cup or Continental matches etc. Please also ensure that when you update the stats you also update the date, using ~~~~~. If you have any questions please ask. GiantSnowman 16:48, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ok, apologies for that WL2S (talk) 17:06, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

I have just reverted this Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jake Burton (footballer) just closed as not ready for mainspace and nothing appears to have changed in the last ten days. Please do not re-submit this until the issues raised in the AfD are resolved. G4 will result if you do, and then you won't be able to work on it in draft space.
