January 2021 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, you may be blocked from editing. Acroterion (talk) 22:02, 9 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • "Identified murderer" is not an appropriate edit summary Acroterion (talk) 22:03, 9 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ashli Babbitt was murdered W33KeNdr (talk) 22:08, 9 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

You are welcome to believe that; you are not welcome to insert that in a Wikipedia article, any more than our articles can say that anyone killed by police was "murdered" until there is a murder conviction in a court of law. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 02:30, 10 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
To my knowledge, I've never included that in an article. Obviously that's a bias and I have no interest in trying to insert my beliefs opposed to facts in articles. W33KeNdr (talk) 02:34, 10 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:W33KeNdr reported by User:VQuakr (Result: ). Thank you. VQuakr (talk) 19:47, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Chill out and join the discussion before templating and harassing me, please. W33KeNdr (talk) 19:53, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

WP:AOHA. The noticeboard posting was for your article space edits, not talk page contributions. VQuakr (talk) 19:55, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

You need to take a breather and leave me alone. Please stop commenting on my talk page. W33KeNdr (talk) 19:59, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Blocked edit

You have been blocked temporarily from editing to prevent further vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Since you have ignored repeated warnings not to insert your personal opinion into the article 2021 storming of the United States Capitol, I have blocked you from editing that article for a month. The block currently applies only to that article. But if you persist in adding your opinion to any other articles, you will blocked from editing Wikipedia at all. -- MelanieN (talk) 19:57, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

What vandalism am I being accused of? W33KeNdr (talk) 19:59, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

You have been told many times, and you have deleted the warnings and continued your disruptive editing. Specifically, edit warring at that article by repeatedly changing the consensus description of the woman, and repeatedly referring to her death as "murder" in edit summaries. -- MelanieN (talk) 20:10, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
How can you say I'm changing consensus when there has still been no consensus met? And "the woman" has a name, it's Ashli Babbitt and she was murdered. I believe this block is not a good-faith attempt to stop vandalism (when none has taken place) but instead a way to continue to push a pov. W33KeNdr (talk) 20:17, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Feel free to believe it. I blocked you only from that article. There were suggestions at the Edit Warring discussion that you should be blocked from all of Wikipedia because you are "not here to build an encyclopedia". Your recent edits suggest that may be true. -- MelanieN (talk) 20:25, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Is that a threat? W33KeNdr (talk) 20:27, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
It's a repetition of what I said in the first place: if you persist in adding your opinion to any other articles, you will blocked from editing Wikipedia at all. Your choice. Over and out. -- MelanieN (talk) 20:35, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
MelanieN, I have completed the WP:NOTHERE block. – Muboshgu (talk) 22:12, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

But why? I have been correcting vandalism and fixing errors. Can you explain why you felt the need to completely block me, other than political motive? W33KeNdr (talk) 22:14, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I had no "political motive". Yours has led you to edit war and otherwise show yourself to be WP:NOTHERE to collaborate constructively. – Muboshgu (talk) 22:22, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

January 2021 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  – Muboshgu (talk) 22:07, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

no clear reason for block. No rules broken, participating in good faith. W33KeNdr (talk) 22:12, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

Decline reason:

You appear to be trying to edit the encyclopedia for your own purposes, not the encyclopedia's benefit, and you've been edit-warring repeatedly after warnings. You've displayed a hostile attitude toward other editors that isn't compatible with your participation in this collaborative project. Acroterion (talk) 22:22, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

When have I displayed any hostile attitude? Its extremely clear that certain editors want to unperson and degrade a female victim of violence, and I've kept it civil in trying to fix errors in that regard. It has become extremely clear that Wikipedia has a severe problem with women engaged in the project, but I did not know it went so far as to smear female victims of violence. You should be ashamed. Q.E.D. Acroterion (talk) 22:38, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Silencing women should not be a pillar of operation for any project. W33KeNdr (talk) 22:43, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

You've ignored at least two women who have warned you about your conduct. Acroterion (talk) 22:53, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I reverted vandalism and only used sourced edits. It's clear that I won't be unblocked because I insisted that we include the name of the murdered victim. I understand now that Wikipedia is not a place where women's ideas are allowed without the approval of men. W33KeNdr (talk) 23:16, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • As you continue to ascribe ludicrous reasons for your block instead of applying any introspection as to how your own behavior led to the block, I've removed your access to this page. And no, I didn't need the approval of a man to do so. WP:UTRS is available for appeals, but you will need to review WP:GAB and more specifically WP:NOTTHEM in order to compose a valid unblock request.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:23, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
