Speedy deletion nomination of Sky Waltz

edit

Hello Vikashsinhaa,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Sky Waltz for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Celestinesucess (talk) 12:26, 9 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Samit Garg

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Samit Garg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.   Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Samit Garg, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you.   Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove speedy deletion notices from pages you created yourself, as you did at Samit Garg, you may be blocked from editing. OnionRing (talk) 12:08, 13 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • If you can write a whole page about someone full of stuff such as "he is a planning wizard and visionary entrepreneur" and honestly not believe that it is promotional, then it is difficult to know where to start in explaining to you why it is. From start to finish the article was written to tell us what a great and wonderful person the subject of the article is. That is promotional writing.   Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Since posting the above message, I have looked at the rest of your editing history, and I have discovered the following two facts. (1) You have repeatedly created the same promotional article after it has been repeatedly deleted as promotional. (2) All of your editing is promotional, some of it more blatantly so than other parts of it. Wikipedia is not a free advertising service. Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Vikashsinhaa. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 13:58, 13 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

  This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, as you did at Samit garg, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. 220 of Borg 05:24, 16 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

  Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! 220 of Borg 05:25, 16 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing, because it is clear that you are here not to contribute to building the encyclopedia, but to use Wikipedia for promotion, which is contrary to Wikipedia policy, and also because of other disruptive actions, such as repeatedly creating the same article after multiple deletions, and switching to a slightly different version of a title when the original title was protected to stop your spamming. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
