January 2022 edit

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Rsk6400 (talk) 13:10, 28 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Kodak Black, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 19:09, 28 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please don't add too many links edit

Hi, you may have seen that I reverted some (not all) of the links you added recently. Sorry for that, but MOS:SEEALSO states that links should be relevant. Is a link you add really a help to our readers or does it just confuse our readers ? Rsk6400 (talk) 07:30, 29 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

February 2022 edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to African Americans, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please, please: Before adding a link ask yourself if it really helps our readers. You might also consider to read WP:NOTEVERYTHING. Rsk6400 (talk) 08:27, 5 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

AN/I notice edit

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 04:43, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is now at ANI; are you going to stop doing these moves? Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 04:48, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 04:54, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Do not make obviously controversial moves without gaining consensus. Do not return to this kind of behavior. Discuss things and collaborate. Cullen328 (talk) 05:53, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Deletion discussion about White Americans in Arkansas edit

Hello, Vegan dog lover 1993, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username JackFromWisconsin, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, White Americans in Arkansas, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/White Americans in Arkansas.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|JackFromWisconsin}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
