Image copyright problem with Image:22990 lg.jpg
editThank you for uploading Image:22990 lg.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 10:34, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

editPlease do not add POV to pages, as you did to Sathya Sai Baba. Your edits have been reverted. Thanks, Ono (talk) 07:36, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Wikipedia:Editor review/SoWhy 2, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. SoWhy 08:54, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page Jessica Alba has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. You did it again. Please stop. See WP:COPYVIO, "Contributors who repeatedly post copyrighted material despite appropriate warning may be blocked from editing by any administrator to prevent further problems". Sean.hoyland - talk 16:54, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
You did NOT just quite, you copy-pasted the entire article linked above. If you continue this, you will be blocked. --Ragib (talk) 17:15, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
re:Lakshmi Mittal
editTwo thing you are going to need to keep in mind:
- Your edit here was removing material that was actually associated with a reference. Removing it would require an edit summary explaining the removal.
- Your edit here is within the scope of WP:BLP - the family of a living person isn't necessarily needed to be mentioned unles the is citeable references that they are part of what make the person notable. There isn't a cite there, and the information looks tangeltal. You don't need to comment on other editor's talk pages, but you should be including an edit summary as to why you removed the section.
October 2010
editPlease do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Spider-Man (film), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.-5- (talk) 14:54, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Enthiran
editAlright, you don't have to explain the details -- I already know how well Enthiran is doing. But bear in mind that this is an encyclopedia article, so watch out for repetitive words, weasel words, etc. Also, you're adding excessive information to the lead portion of the article. It's already mentioned that Enthiran made 65 crores in its first weekend, which is apparently a record, so we don't need to list every other detail. Any other detail must be written in other parts of the article. Make sure what you add to the article isn't already mentioned somewhere else. EelamStyleZ (talk) 21:19, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
I went through your claim for endhiran box office information. I totally fully agree on you. Infact I added all that you say two days before, but I receive the strongest against/revert actions from Anwar (talk), who is a reviewer/rollbacker and has admin powers. I was trying in explaining him all but he kept on going what he thinks, against wiki admins policy and rules. If you read this make a note again in explaining the above mentioned user through his Talk page and generate more support on other users in this issue through Talk pages and Discussions, so it will help us.
Also he replied me implying he does not beleive in the sources that I gave him like: Times of Idia,Economic times and Other trusted sources. So I really felt bad, upset and I started raising questions to him saying, "Then even I have no trust on you what links you provided even after showing India's most trusted Times of India and Others." So make sure that before your edit also getting changed/reverted try to explain him clearly and tell others forming a clear consensus. Many thanks in your interest for Enthiran edit.
But for time-being I changed your edit now. Please be patient and wait for one day before what he replies or changes in Enthiran article/page. I hope you understand me. !!!

Hi Varanwal,
I understand you and similarly felt bad myself a little. But let us not bring in more serious discussions here where it will be totally mis-understood by others. We may continue to talk on other sources like email & not here seeing the sensitivity of these issues what you said. But I support you in this regard. what to do still things happen as you told me now. Even I have experienced what you were seeing in all ways, the North-South hindu-muslim divide.

Your recent edits
editHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 14:13, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

editPlease do not add unsourced content, as you did to Ramayana. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You changed cited text in such major ways that the new text was no longer backed by the sources - please don't do this again. Dougweller (talk) 16:39, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
This is your last warning; the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Kurukshetra War, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. editWelcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Daivadnya. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. Barnwal
editI have reverted your recent changes to Barnwal. You removed a valid link to another Wikipedia article, added some poorly phrased content, including a pointless abbreviation (why chane "Uttar PRadesh" for "U.P.", which to a lot of non-Indian people is meaningless?), and inserted information that is already available via the linked article. This article is about the Barnwals, not the king Abirhan. - Sitush (talk) 09:39, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
September 2011
edit You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Barnwal. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
You are removing maintenance tags without resolving the issues raise. You are also adding far too much material that is either completely unsourced or poorly sourced. Please discuss these changes on the article talk page. Thanks. Sitush (talk) 21:01, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
File source problem with File:Ahibaran.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:Ahibaran.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —SpacemanSpiff 21:43, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
File:Ahibaran.jpg listed for deletion
editA file that you uploaded or altered, File:Ahibaran.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. —SpacemanSpiff 07:17, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
Ahivarn / Ahibaran
editYou cannot just cut/paste the content of an article to a new article if you disagree with its name. This violates copyright as it does not provide attribution in the page history to the work of all the editors who have worked on that article, and attributes all of that work solely to you. You should have used the page move function yourself, but now that you have created an article at the new desired location you will have to request the page be moved. — Manticore 23:06, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
Barnwal
editI've just removed a fair bit of what you again added recently. Aside from some of it being unsourced, there is also the issue that has previously been raised regarding the existence of a separate article for king Abirhan and a further issue regarding what appears to be a trivial list. I do understand that not every source is available online and the policy on reliable sources allows for this, but that is not really the problem. The problem is that the main source used for much of your content appears to have its origin as one or both of a self-published work or a work produced by an advocacy group. Both of these situations are ok for limited content but when they relate in any event to a long, incomplete and not exclusively used list of names, well, that pushes things beyond what I consider to be encyclopedic information.
Feel free to discuss this as Talk:Barnwal. I may be incorrect in my judgement but that venue is the one most likely to gain input from other contributors. I'll try to leave a note there in a few hours - off to bed right now, sorry. - Sitush (talk) 23:41, 20 September 2011 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
