Lakshmi Baramma S02 is a Kannada serial that airs on Colors Kannada from Monday to Saturday at 7:30 pm. The Show is extended version of Bhagyalakshmi (Kannada TV series) which airs from Monday to Saturday at 7:00 pm.

Lakshmi alias Laddu is an innocent girl. She was an orphan and was raised by her cousin sister Bhagya who she calls as Akkamma . She also had an evil aunt and her daughter pooja. However, she had a good bonding with her uncle Vittal Murthy who treats Lakshmi as his own daughter.Bhagya had a long lasting dream to make Lakshmi Marry with a best groom. Where as Kaveri who had a bitter past with her mother in law worries about her future with coming daughter in law. Kaveri's son Vaishnav is a RockStar in Banglore who is in love with Keerthy, a modern and high class stubborn girl as well as Vaishnav's Dance pair. Kaveri's Elder sister Kusuma is mother in law of Bhagya. Kaveri, after learning her son's love drama manipulates keerthy and arranges Vaishnav's marriage with Lakshmi. But Upset of Breakup with Keerthy, Vaishnav breaks down at Lakshmi on the wedding day.Vaishnav's paternal aunt Supreetha who awaits to see Kaveri's down fall enrages him. Shattered Lakshmi leaves the mandap writing a letter abiding her Akkamma. But somehow Kusuma manages the situation and the marriage happens well without any disturbances.All the Family members tries to flourish the love between the couple.As the time passes,Vaishnav understands Lakshmi's Kind heart and starts loving her forgetting keerthy.
Now Keerthy who is disturbed by all these incidents between her lover blackmails Kaveri using her past voice records.Kaveri with no other go creates disturbances between her son and daughter in law in order to maintain good relation with her son.Also Supreetha who is against Lakshmi now turns good because of her kind nature and tries to protect Lakshmi in all ways. Now what all plans keerthy do to regain her love ?? Will Lakshmi withstand all the problems and be happy with her Husband and Family is the crux of the story.
