Higurashi
edit"(higurashi did not start as a sound novel.)" Unless I am very much mistaken, yes it did. See ひぐらしのなく頃に 鬼隠し編. Genre listed is "sound novel".--SeizureDog 22:57, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Lu Bu image
editHello Deadkid dk. I've never actually seen you complain about any of the Dynasty Warriors references or images appearing in the many Chinese historical figure articles you seem to patrol, although I always sense a hint of annoyance or dislike just beneath the surface. Is there something in particular grating on you about the descriptions, or am I completely off the mark? Gamer Junkie 10:47, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- Completely agree, that's why I've added as many of the portraits as I have. I intend to get around to the others, but I've been busy with other articles, discussions, fights, etc. I'm not sure that most people focus on Dynasty Warriors more than the other titles so much as Dynasty Warriors is the only title most have had the opportunity to play. Personally, I've never been able to play the other titles, because they've never been available to the extent of Dynasty Warriors (and also because it takes me long enough to complete each DW outing as is without starting on one of its strategic cousins).
- Anyway, I asked because some seem to feel that the games are an unwelcome intrusion into the historical context, although these same people are happy to accomodate the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" descriptions into the articles. Go figure, eh? Gamer Junkie 11:22, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- True, that's why I only use the portraits at the bottom of the page and add as much or as little information as necessary depending on the size of the article. Dynasty Warriors and RoTK are brilliant, but Koei/Guanzhong interpretations shouldn't take priority over the historical figure they are based upon. Gamer Junkie 02:33, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

"Xiahou Dun" article edits
editWhoops, sorry about that, mate. Reading closer, I see that it's about an anime/manga and not Dynasty Warriors. I should pay more attention, eh? Sorry again. Gamer Junkie 11:53, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- No worries, and no need to be so apologetic. If it seems like I'm pissed off, I'm not, that's just the way I talk. _dk 11:56, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't think you were angry, I guess that's just the way I talk, too. I should be more of an arsehole and then tell people you encouraged it ;) Gamer Junkie 12:03, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Tong sui
editGood job at tong sui. It will be good to have you working on Chinese cuisine articles, as you seem to have expertise in this subject. Do you know why the original editor had "沙" for soup? Badagnani 23:41, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
If that's the Cantonese variant spelling, it should probably be included if those dishes are considered typically Cantonese. Badagnani 03:48, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

"Liu Bei" article
editYeah, I've used the three of them together on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms page. I wanted to find individual images of the three, rather than using the one image on all three articles. I found one for Zhang Fei, somebody else apparently found one for Guan Yu, but there's no Liu Bei image around. I know, it looks a bit rubbish, doesn't it? I was planning on replacing it as soon as I'd found an individual Dynasty Warriors 5 portrait or replace it later with the three of them together if I couldn't. If you want to get rid of it, go ahead, it was just a temporary thing anyway. Gamer Junkie 07:02, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
I'd first thought that the three together was the only image until I found the Zhang Fei portrait, so I was just kinda hoping there'd be others. Anyway, I'm currently looking for a better version of the current image. If I find one, I'll upload it as soon as possible. Gamer Junkie 08:45, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

- Hi, I think you need to practice what you have on your Userpage. The anime sites, the homepage, and the people who worked on it didn't say anything about it, and I can actually read Japanese. The series covered lolicon, but that's just a minor part of it. (Misaki is no loli.) _dk 18:30, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
Its sexual for the love of Neko! What part of lolicon dont you get?! It does not matter. I have not seen it, just the AMVs & funny clips of it, the point is lolicon is any sexual anime involving charaters below 18 yrs in the USA! NHK=LOLICON MAN.--saikano 18:38, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for editing the battle of Pungdo on my additions. However, can you also help put the appropriete wiki links on it? such as for Li Hongzhang and guangxu Emperor? I read a lot of wiki, but this is the first time I try to edit. Let me know how I can improve on what I am doing. my email is basilyang@yahoo.com.

Three Kingdoms Articles
editHello - just wanted to clear up that I am not specifically targeting the subjects from the Three Kingdoms - I am part of an assessment project and am currently in the process of assessing unassessed articles tagged to the WPBiography project. My current ranger is from X through Z. I am nominating the articles since they lack any substantial biographical information and contain no references and would appear to be characters rather than actual people. This is debatable, however, so I am leaving it to the community to decide whether or not the articles should remain or stay. I hope this is not offending you in anyway and please, if you can, furnish the articles with any information. --Ozgod 03:20, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- As Ozgod also send a similar message to me, I have replied to him as follows:
- You have also sent a similar message to me, but though I find the original deletion perhaps understandable, I do not find it so understandable that you are continuing. The WP article on the novel makes clear that this is one of the great classic Chinese novels, that it is historical fiction, and that all the principal characters are both in the novel and in real-world history. This is making a great deal of work for the rest of the people at AfD, but perhaps someone will as a result adopt them. DGG 18:28, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Re: Danbooru's death TT__TT
editI have been wanting to do with for some time and thought that maybe you could help. What would you think about creating an article on Danbooru? I think the website was notable enough for inclusion with WP:WEB, though I think the bulk of the article should contain a history section, citing of course how long its lifespan was and its recent death. Do you think we could create something like that?--十八 07:09, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- Just wanted to let you know if you didn't already that a new dabooru called sagubooru has popped up with all the old posts from danbooru: sagubooru.--十八 09:43, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- Danbooru creator released the code yesterday and I guess they somehow transfers the entire database over to sagubooru's admin; but who cares as long as it's back. =) --十八 11:14, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi this seems to have been left dormant for quite a while, but the trend is towards a merge (5-3). Just thought I'd drop you a line since you were the nominator. I'd be happy to merge them in the near future unless a bunch of opposes fly onto page, which in unlikely. Cheers.Keefer4 02:29, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
