Your comments
editHello, Unaveraged,
I was reviewing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michele Federici and saw your comments about articles you have written being speedy deleted so you could preserve a copy of them. Unless there are majory problems like copyright violations or content that violates our BLP guidelines, many administrators will send you a copy of a deleted article via email at your request or even restore it to User space for you to continue to work on. This is especially true for main space articles that have been tagged for a lack of notability (CSD A7). It's a bit more difficult if the article has been deleted due to it being promotional (CSD G11) as that's a speedy deletion criteria that can be used in any namespace, including User space and Draft space.
But still, you shouldn't worry about losing a record of your work, either come to an admin who you find sympathetic (or who is in Category:Wikipedia administrators willing to provide copies of deleted articles) or try making a request at WP:REFUND. You will not be successful if you ask for the article to be restored to main space but you might get a positive response if you request either an admin send you a copy of the last version of the article or a request to restore it to User or Draft space. Thank you for your contributions to the project. Liz Read! Talk! 23:06, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
